No one will ever be impeached for a campaign finance violation.

That is a door they can't afford to open.

The other things are still in play, but Chinese donations didn't get Clinton. Blatant over contributions didn't get Obama. There are many incidents on both sides at all levels of government.

It will take something other than a campaign finance violation to even pass articles of impeachment.

No. You could claim he shot a man in Manhatten. I'd then ask for you to provide a link. At which point you would disappear to another thread or post to a tweet by some obscure "spy" on Twitter as your proof.

The interesting thing about a plea agreement is it included more than one charge and did not require the government to prove any of them. My guess---they had him dead to rights on the most serious charges and he got leniency by pleading out to all of them. Thats why they didnt need "cooperation". They can simply point to the guilty plea as evidence of wrongdoing by Trump. My guess is Cohen could have easily beaten that campaign charge---but he was a dead duck on the financial stuff (for instance the misrepresentation on the loan application and false billing).

Proving beyond a reasonable doubt that keeping affairs by a married man under wraps constitutes a "campaign contribution" when the man is Trumps personal lawyer and was fully reimbursed for every penny he spent (plus additional fees) by Trumps own business would be very hard to sell as a "campaign contribution" to most any reasonable person. That said, Democrats will certainly try to make that case. I mean---if saying Gates is a "good guy" represents obstruction of justice to the extreme left---then this will likely seem like an obvious campaign donation to the far left MSNBC true believers. But for most everyone else---its a nothing burger.

Traitor and compromised is the claim: Where's the evidence and why hasn't he been brought up on articles of impeachment? The argument of who is in control of the House isn't a good start point. Proof and evidence to back up your claim. Not Mother Jones, Box, a message board, or a podcast.
