History Channel’s ‘Ancient Aliens’ Outperforms CNN in Primetime
And I, for one, love it. The Ancient Astronaut Theory may seem crazy to some but it is thought provoking, original, holds no political animus either way, doesn't trash Trump, doesn't insult MAGA Deplorables, and at least offers a fresh and different take on history.

Quote:The primetime lineup for the History Channel includes the show Ancient Aliens, a show which delves into the conspiracy theories behind aliens, while CNN’s lineup features hosts Anderson Cooper and Chris Cuomo. The History Channel had 1.06 million viewers in primetime this week.

CNN finished in a distant seventh place, attracting 992,000 average viewers and falling behind HGTV, USA, the History Channel, and TBS in the weekly ratings.

Ole ‘hair in the wind’ should search for his aliens at MSNBC. He might find a few there.

I usually watch Ancient Aliens just for kicks but now they're showing old reruns or they sure seem like reruns because there's nothing new in their shows. That's the ironic thing though that even reruns are more favorable than watching those two goofballs or whoever is on at the time at FNN.

Personally, I've seen UFOs on 4 occasions. I've worked on aircraft for 34 years so I know what an airplane looks like and what I saw wasn't anything that resembled any I've seen. I don't know what they were so I place them in the unidentified category.

My wife kids me that they're my friends. 03-wink

Ancient Aliens is scripted BS along the lines of Pawn Stars or American Pickers.

Even me, self-proclaimed enjoyer of all things sci-fi / aliens / coast to coast etc find Ancient Aliens remarkably................ unbelievable.

I used to watch AA when it first come out for a while, I've always been a sci-fi and science fan. Although the presentation is good and they bring up some juicy mysterious things in the world, virtually all of their explanatory theories are pretty much just based on 100% imagination with absolutely zero tangible evidence to anchor it to.

I guess it does bear some resemblance to the liberal media these days. All they do is focus on wild fantasy as well.

A lack of tangible evidence does not mean much to them at all.

Just watched one about the Egyptian hieroglyphics that purportedly shows a helicopter, even though the most cursory research confirms it's just been damaged or re-worked. It was easily disproven.

(Also, whenever they use Graham Hancock as a resource, my eyes roll so far back in my head I can see behind me. But damn I loved the first time I read Chariots of the Gods, probably back in the early 1990s. It got me hooked on the crazy side of things which I continue to enjoy today as a bit of intellectual self-flagellation.)

There is a ton of military UFO sightings coming out the last 2-3 years.

Of course, I don't believe for a second they are little green men in spacecrafts from another world (I used to but not anymore). I think the bible gives us enough info to know these things are spiritual and connected with Satan and the fallen angels. It just a modern repackaging of things they also did long ago. Its also no coincidence this really exploded in 1947-48, the same exact time Israel was being reborn as a nation and the end times countdown began accord to the Bible. Its also coincidently the same time we found the Dea sea scrolls, giving us copies of the entire OT 1000 years older than anything we previously had, multiple centuries BEFORE the birth of Christ or any of the key NT events (PROVING the validity of Bible prophecy on a massive scale). All three happened right at the same time right after WW2 and the Holocaust.

But the dramatic increase and open military involvement (plus all the TV and movie stuff) is really accelerating things.

People now are far more likely to believe in aliens that Jesus or the bible. Satan knows what he is doing. We have all been programmed to strongly desire alien contact instead of contact with our Creator. I know I did most of my life by far.

The whole show is pretty much based around that book imo.

It can be entertaining stuff at times, even if you know its really far-fetched or just grossly inaccurate sometimes.

RE: History Channel’s ‘Ancient Aliens’ Outperforms CNN in Primetime
I've never seen a UFO or alien in my life, but I'd sure as heck would love to one day. And yes - I know I am going to catch heat for this - but I do believe there are other civilizations out there. I do believe aliens exist. And yes, I am open to them being demonic entities but I believe both exist - and I also believe that they are seeing some of the same things we are and are struggling with reconciling it just as much.

Well like National Enquirer, Ancient Aliens' crazy secret conspiracy theories are much more entertaining than those of CNN.
