RE: Syracuse game review
Lets ride. Bronco win 28 - 14. The defense comes to play, and with all the offence parts back we score four touchdowns. It will be a great day to be a bronco.

RE: Syracuse game review
This is a bad match up for us. I am worried about Dungey and their passing attack. Syracuse isn't world-beaters, but I have a hard time seeing us go toe-to-toe with them for 4 quarters. No idea where our defense is going to be, especially our secondary. These guys also have a couple NFL-caliber players on both sides of the line. Hoping for the best but I just don't see it.

RE: Syracuse game review
IMO I see it going like the northwestern game, it will come down to who ever will make big plays and key turnovers. Reading this, seems like a heavy dose of bogan and Bellamy with long drives to
keep Syracuse offense off the field, if we can control the clock and limit turnovers, I like us to have a chance to be competitive late in the 4th quarter. This writer doesn’t seem to worried about our defense but I feel like that’s our biggest ?.
I see it 34-27 WMU

RE: Syracuse game review
I’m pretty optimistic about our MAC season.
But I’m pessimistic about our two P5 games. (not that I’d expect a win at scUM anyhow, but I think Harbaugh will name his score)
Lots of guys coming off injury that may need a little time to shake off rust, on top of the things Hoek mentioned. I wish we were opening with Delaware State. if ever we needed an opening creampuff to work out the kinks and cobwebs, this year was it.

I'm guessing that last year's MSU team was better than this year's UM team. It's doable, but need good plan, good performance, and good fortune.

Agree. UM is routinely over-rated. Some say their D MAY BE THE BEST IN THE COUNTRY this year. That’s crazy talk.

I also like the fact that UM playing a night road game vs Notre Dame the week before. I'm certainly not saying we are going to win, but less shocking things have happened in college football. Boy would it be sweet.

If our offense plays the way I think it will, I really think we'll surprise Michigan. Not saying we'll win, but early season Michigan teams under Harbaugh have not been impressive at all. I can see us going in to the big house and shocking them like we did USC last year, I just hope this year we can finish it.

U-M will lose to ND, probably badly (Brian Kelly > Jim Harbaugh). Not sure how that will impact Michigan going into our game, but after a bad loss on National Television Michigan players will likely be hungry for a face-saving win.
Hope WMU can drive a stake through the heart of that classless program in Ann Arbor.

RE: Syracuse game review
Michigan’s defense ranked #3 nationally last year. Most football guru’s see them as even better this year. It’s their offense that’s suspect.

Going into last season everyone was wondering how Michigan’s defense could not take a step backward after losing all starters not named McCray. They did fine, 3rd overall, 13th points allowed, 18th best against run and 1st in passing yards allowed. This season they return everyone but Hurst. 3 preseason all american’s, 2 of them in the LB corps, one of the best CB pairs, and possibly best DEs in the nation. They are ave at safety but another season into Don Brown’s system (3rd) and this may be be the best defense in the nation. But that’s crazy talk because they’re really just overrated.

NDs RT injured his calf and will undergo an MRI to assess the damage. If he’s not good to go for the opener that forces their starting guard out to tackle. Wimbush Has already demonstrated a penchant to run instead of stand in the pocket. If his Oline has trouble with Winovich, Gary, Solomon and Vilain he could be in for a long day.
Edit: looks like their starting RB Dexter Williams may be suspended as well

Agreed!
Playing in the weak Pig10 inflates those numbers. Not like Michigan is regularly competing against an SEC or PAC12 schedule.
Any Michigan loss is a Bronco win in my book.
Go Broncos, and whoever is playing that classless school in Ann Arbor.

RE: Syracuse game review
The PAC12 that’s a good one! The highest ranked PAC12 team finished 12th real gauntlet of a conference. tOSU Wisconsin and Penn St were all ahead of USC, must be a conspiracy.
I see a lot of the same tired narratives on nearly every thread. Try coming with some FACTS, I know it’s hard to think.

How 'bout this fact: there is NO maize & blue or green & white in a Western Michigan University degree.
Think, son.

So you're saying in the PAC12 Michigan might finish better than third in their division?

Thanks Dad. That’s a good one I’ve also never heard on various posts. I guess I should forget about growing up a Michigan fan since I was 8. Or maybe I should change allegiances to whoever is on top of of the standings. Those are the best fans. I didn’t go to Western because of the vaunted program under Al Molde.
