It very well may, come his July finish in Vegas, but until then, I still believe Tony has a legitimate shot, based on Beran's character/academic priorities, his sister (who he is close to) being a Christopher Newport student, family in Richmond, and the trajectory of the program. Though GA Tech is a great school academically and gives a chance at ACC level play, their coach doesn't approach Tony on so many levels, they have a load of other 6'9"/6'10" players on their roster, and Beran will not be a primary focus for them with the glut of other offers they have out. Until a UVA or UNC gets involved, I'd like to hope we're still in there.
