I thought it would be interesting to gauge predictions on who Trump will name to replace Justice Kennedy. Feel free to say who you think he should name, if that person is different.


I believe he will nominate Raymond Kethledge, although I would prefer Amy Barrett.

I'd prefer Robert Bork, but he is singing with the angels....

If only there were a Bork or Scalia on Trump's list. I am afraid there may not be any with the chops that those two had.

Barrett feels more like a Trump pick imo. She sets a religious freedom trap for the dems going into the midterms and the dems will look stupid screaming about women's rights when the nominee is a woman.

She is also the more in your face ballzy move, which Trump often goes for.

I would be happy with a Kavanaugh or Kethledge pick as well though.

No thanks on Thomas Hardiman. He is the most likely stealth moderate/liberal of any of the larger list. Right now it sounds like Mike Lee is being used as more of a consultant for the pick.

Go for the woman and enjoy the show as the Democrats savage her. Hypocracy on parade!

Yep. He's a RF, bats right handed and he crushes lots of home runs to right. Plus, he already has his own Judge's Chambers at Yankee Stadium.

Its really hard to tell who its going to be as of right now.

I didn't know any of these (real) candidates yesterday and I will know very little about the final appointment when it happens. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Agreed. I think Kethledge will get the nod though I would prefer Barrett.

I know he is a dem, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed....
