dems are already losing their minds. This will certainly put them over the edge.

I'd say this has just become the worst week for the dem party in the past 50 years, which means it is probably the best week for America in the past 50 years too.

Trump saying he will return to his list of 25, but he has since added 5 more names to it. So, we know most of the people he will be selecting our next SC justice from.

(b) a Democrat is president

Waiting for a lefty to come in and say Trump should appoint Garland since they stole his seat from him.

dems will scream that Kennedy was a swing vote and Trump should replace him with a moderate, but forget that. Kennedy was a Reagan appointee, so Trump has every right to place a strong conservative on his place.

It will be interesting to see how Manchin and other red state Dems vote.

I think that is one reason why they want to get this appointment done soon. If Manchin were to oppose the nominee right now, he would be toast in November. But based on his track record, he probably would oppose it, if the Senate process were after the election season, and his seat was safe.

If Trump was not elected, this pick on the Supreme Court could be Comey or Lynch. And McCabe could be running the FBI. Let that sink in.

It is very scary to think of what this country might look like right now if Hilary would have been able to steal the election.

for all he has done since assuming the Presidency, I think this SC pick will cement Trump's legacy. We need a solid conservative. The sooner the better.

Liberal leaders Schumer and Feinstien are already calling for the next SC judicial appointment to held after the November elections.

Good thing they can't stop the process. This situation is exactly why they were stupid to force the nuclear option on the Gorsuch. Now, Republicans have a recent precedent for using it again. dems should not be able to stop Trump's nominee from being confirmed before the November elections.
