No wonder he wears a bow tie.
In my best bow tie voice........
“Gee Wally, we don’t hang out with that ilk”
“Flagulate them!”

I’m going to remember this next time they want me to support some milk toast Rhino because it’s for the good of the party. I’ll vote Democrat so these same wise party elders can brainstorm reasons thier handpicked blue blood country club brethren can’t seem to build a winning electorial coalition.

Same here, almost word for word.

Just like in 2016, I'll gladly trade never Trumpers (the only thing they know how to do is lose) for blue dog dems and libertarians.
I saw the energy in Duluth the other night. I'm not buying what george and other never Trumpers are selling. They are doing what they think is good for their own pocket book, for brownie points at cocktail parties, not what is best for the country. They can f**k off.
I'd vote for a blue dog again, if I could find one.

I remember him telling us all we need to fall in line when McCain and Romney were nominees for the good of the party. What a cry baby hypocrite.

Damn, man.
Sometimes I think we are sharing a brain...
No idea how or when he went completely off the rails, but my guess has always been (of late) that the tony K street parties and mingling with the pretty people finally broke him.
Maybe he’s getting the dirty on with some “young” 55YO lobbyist?
Seems he’s gone full Morning Schmoe of late. Never go full morning schmoe...

He wore a hat.
And of course prior to being President (or even a candidate or pol) he once said “grab em by the *****” not knowing there was a mic on.
Surely no one here has ever uttered something similar...

The 6 conservative intellectuals left in the GOP are heading for the exits.

Is Steve Schmidt really an “intellectual”?
Either way, the GOP seems to have gotten over him kind of quickly. And over George Will, too.

Do you mean being shown the exits?
Maybe they can attend the Canks next coronation party.
We tried it their way for 2 generations, many of us willingly, faithfully.
Lovable losers. That ship done sailed.
I’ll patiently await Kristols next “hot take” tweet...

There is no question the GOP is a very different party than it once was; and the Democratic Party is going to have to further broaden its platform to accommodate the ship jumpers.

Indeed.
Cause the Republican Party now contains a sizable number of former democrats. A bunch of the racisss that voted for zerO twice.
Funny, how’d that happen? Not enough temper tantrums from the brats?

You said it best. Its that DC-NY corridor. Unfortunately, everyone on the Supreme Court has spent most of their adult life (and sometimes their whole life) in the DC-NY corridor. Desperately need some diversity there.

Bill Kristol and George Will have their temper trantrums.
This is all really about personality. And of course, who is paying George Will's salary.

Yup.
It’s why I applauded, then paused and asked myself-Self? Why are you applauding something as dumb and simple as this?
The Huber appointment as special counsel to the special counsel or whatever it is. That and the (I think) FBI promotion of another guy from out west.
Neither of them part of the I-95 swamp creatures.
