I guessing, but it looks like part of the turf has been cut and flipped over and the net supports have been taken down. How that relates to utility work I'm not sure.

Looks like a portion of the turf needed to be removed for utility work. This is actually very important work and it's a great time to get this accomplished.

At least they are being honest now and calling it a renovation as opposed to a new stadium.

I attended a Monarch Legacy Society event at the stadium last night. Dr. Selig stated that soon there will be cameras in place to view daily progress of construction. The turf was pulled to mark existing utilities. Trees were cut down by the Ainslie building.

I assume it will be BlueOx and if so there is a website you can check for a live feed and time lapse options.

Cannot remember if Stanford called theirs a renovation or new stadium. They leveled everything to the foundation.

Does anyone else feel based on the new renderings that the new design looks a lot more like Ballards original design. I do, and we were all happy when that came out. I think we will be getting a good product.

Definitely agree with the last sentence. The press box looks very different to me though.

We have had a lot of hurdles and uncertainty regarding this. But we're just 15 months away from seeing football in the new FF. That's pretty cool.

I'm also happy they found a way to get a new scoreboard. Finally the student section will be able to chant "bull.. ****" and know with certainty whether or not the call was bad.

That score board was really needed as the icing for a recruiting tool.

There have been no new renderings released since April.

CMett is comparing those to the renderings from the proposal SB Ballard made a while back that got rejected.
