Sun Belt isn't willingly cutting ties to Mobile or Montgomery and seems unlikely either of those bowls would be so disappointed in Sun Belt ticket sales to drop the Sun Belt.

Cure might like to dump Sun Belt but as long as they are CBSSN they will struggle to find a replacement.

I'm okay with dropping Arizona but maybe some western division schools would not feel the same. If Myrtle Beach gets a good TV deal then it maybe would make everyone feel good about it.

Myrtle is closer than Tuscon to everyone except for Texas State.

I think that is the plan, but I’m still not a fan of it.

The image of watching the Idaho Potato Bowl being played with Air Force-Western Mich and the field still painted up with Bronco crap. Nothing about that game looked like a bowl. Nothing on that field had the teams actually in the game on it. Just not a fan of post season/bowl games being played at OCS’s.

The bowl contracts run out in 2019-20, there will be a lot of movement in bowl tie ins, doesn’t mean we keep the current line up. Besides, you guys are further from making a bowl then we are, what are you worried about where they are located.

And our last bowl was in Arizona....

Look at it this way, a bowl in MB will give a spot to one of the east coast teams that would possibly go to New Orleans, Mobile, or Montgomery which are all closer to you than Tucson. It's very unlikely Texas State will ever get sent to Myrtle Beach.

As long as the host preps the field properly and it looks like a bowl game on TV, I’m ok with it. Not sure I want to see UAB-GaSo with a big chicken on the field, in the same, I also don’t want to see a Jag head either. As much as I like our Jag head, it’s not bowl material if we are not in the game.

A Myrtle Beach Bowl would be great for Myrtle Beach, CCU and the SBC. Hope it happens.

What happened to the idea of a Charleston Bowl, or was that ruined when the Citidal lost seats in their stadium renovation?
