Yep. Makes no sense that Sam Mitchell is secretly recruiting while it is a live period. I believe that Penny is exploring all options at this point after the Larry Brown fiasco.

Sam is actually coaching the kid and has been for a bit along with other kids. It’s not hurting as of right now him not being on the Memphis staff, so it’s a plus-plus in coaching and being in their ear as a teacher right before taking the assistant coach job at Memphis

Yes it's the live period. Yes you can contact recruits. No you can't speak to them in a gym during a evaluation session as a college coach. Sam is coaching them. He can talk to recruits while in the gym during the evaluation period.

Yes it's the live period. Yes you can contact recruits. No you can't speak to them in a gym during a evaluation session as a college coach. Sam is coaching them. He can talk to recruits while in the gym during the evaluation period.

It is a live period but you can't talk directly to recruits. You can show up at games and make a phone call to the parents but that's about it.
