Just one of the advantages of having a younger coach. A lot of older coaches struggle to relate to 17 year olds

I think we can retire the notion that Penny will not work hard at his job as some feared.

Penny gets it.

Hard to believe we have anyone who actually wanted to keep Orlando after seeing what Penny has done in a little over a month compared to the last two years.

That was always a bs argument from the start. Clearly he works extremely hard and wants to win, he’s as competitive as one could possibly be.

Absolutely loving every step Penny has made thus far. He has obviously paid attention to the vibe and is working his tail off to correct the wrongs. Pretty cool to feel like we actually have a shot at some of these elite players.

The past is the past. Penny is flat out rocking it. Doing interview after interview saying all the right things. Great energy and excitement. The recruits we have signed are promising. Visits scheduled/happening with even bigger recruits for next year. Engages the fan base with Thursday's media effort. Social media savvy. AWESOME stuff!!

Name one thing Penny can do better at this stage of the game?......I can't.

What I really like (one of the many) is how straight up he is with his comments. It was one of the things (many) that I really disliked about Josh. Ask a question and get some kind of coach-speak, fake answer. The Tub had this issue as well. It drove me crazy. It was an insult to all Tiger fans. When Penny is asked a question, you know the answer is really what he feels/thinks about the subject and not some kind of nonsense.

This. Penny gets us. We're a smart basketball fan base and can be adults about stuff. You don't have to BS us. If something didn't go right just say it, we all can see it with our own two eyes. If something good is happening it's ok to talk about that too.
