Meyer's prediction is Wiseman to Memphis
There is a thread about it on the UK site.

https://kentucky.forums.rivals.com/threa...ll.265514/

Pretty funny stuff. Some of their fans think there is no way Kentucky could ever lose a recruiting battle to Memphis. "Funny stuff going on in Memphis" and the same old crap. It looks like a Memphis fan is there getting everyone riled up. Is it one of our posters? Come clean.

Yeah. I just saw that in the other thread. I didn't see a thread title so I thought it was new.

So I guess I missed this but if he reclassified (yes I know what he’s said) he would have to play 2 years before entering the draft. Too young for a reclassify/1 and done ... unless NBA changes the rules.

Yes, Hometown that is right.

Wiseman doesn't turn 19 until March of '20, so can't be drafted until the June '20 NBA draft. The NBA rule is 1 year removed from the players high school graduation, or turns 19 during the calendar year of the draft.

And true the NBA is likely to change the draft rules, but doubtful they have them take effect in time for the '19 draft.

Exactly. Penny gotta be pitching that 2 years of development at Memphis > 1 in HS and 1 in college. Could always play a year at Memphis, then if the NBA hasnt changed their rules in his favor go pro overseas for a year...best of both worlds. Assuming he doesn’t want to be here for year 2, which may not be the case at all

No doubt. And the Wiseman camp is saying he won't re-classify, to which I would say stay tuned.

Lomax said all last fall that he wasn't going to sign early, wanted to play his senior year and see who else might recruit him. November comes around, and he signed early with Wichita State.

Teenagers change their minds a lot. If James dominates EYBL this summer, bet they reconsider re-classifying.

No way he leaves Memphis to go play in Europe. If you listened to his mom he's in no hurry to get to the NBA. He wants to be a kid. Hell maybe we will get lucky and he likes college and sticks around. Lol. But that won't work at Kentucky. Cal will push him to the nba.

Interesting that the picture on the coffee table is laid down. I guess they didn't want Cal's face added to it.
