It is what leads to moderation happening most of the time. And if you feel like you're not getting a fair shake when using report post instead of retaliating, then I have a log of what was reported, which moderators acted on it, and what their notes were when they made those decision(s). So I can then step in and be a neutral third party to review what has happened. But if you never use report post none of that ever happens. I assure you the Memphis fans use report post. They buried Cold today with it. And it wasn't just the Dirty Penny thread. He was in like 4 or 5 threads stirring that pot.

So basically, only the biggest babies get heard. What kind of pansy ass poster reports posts? In all my years of posting on boards, I've never once reported anything other than spam.

I'm amazed that there are egos fragile enough to use that. Especially in mass on one guy who hurts their precious little feelings. But this does tell me a lot. Mods don't actually have the pulse of the board, they just pay attention to those who are overly sensitive enough to report people for saying something they don't like.

No wonder things are the way they are around here. Those with zero backbone get heard and the rest is ignored. Even thought the spineless spout the most crap.

Maybe I will go back to TOB.

I've changed my mind and am following Angry out of this place. After seeing the way GTS treats Shocker fans with legit comments elsewhere, I can see that there's a reason that nothing is ever done about all the shitting on Wichita and our fans. He talks about PMing him but it's already been showed that he ignores PMs. At least those from Wichita fans and now he publicly **** talks them. No wonder he favors the overly sensitive fans who report people.

I’ll reserve further complaints until after the current election. However, I will say this: the group of shocker fans that came here together are the fans with the thicker skins that don’t use the report button, we just bite back. Moderators are there to moderate. They need to do so.

On the main conference board don't bite back use report post. If you want to tell them off quote their post and start a thread on the smack board. Or ask a mod to split the thread (they can take just the smack post and move it out as the starter of a new thread).

So what I've gathered is that Memphis fans can dish out a lot of crap but when it gets turned back around on them, they run to mommy like little babies.

Man, this Penny hire and subsequent bandwagon invasion from Memphis has really gotten the dominoes rolling. That takes quite a fanbase to pull that off.

Ironically I've gotten more requests to ban CB from WSU fans than any other fan base. So it seems you guys have some things to discuss here regarding your own fanbases.

He's a polarizing figure. He knows how to derail a discussion .. but his posts generally have thought put into them. They aren't just making random stuff up.

Yeah, a good number of them on shockernet can’t stand him and when they find him posting on a site moderated by non-shockers they try to shut him down. Same story different verse. Disappointing, because that was the main reason to build The Roundhouse- to escape those who wish to censor.

On one hand some of his stuff was pretty funny and its obvious that he put a lot of effort into it. On the other hand he pretty much made it impossible to have a civil discussion on the main board without it degenerating into smack at some point.

I didn't have anything to do with it but i'm not surprised at all that he got banned. I figured he would eventually push his luck one time too many.

I hope the main board ends up getting cleaned up to the point where we can have a discussion without having to wade through random cheap shots at WSU or any other fan base.

And if you want to point to Wheatshock as a shining example of the people reporting Cold, he was the first one to rally the SWJ SN army when cold was banned.

Probably 1
