Whether Penny works out or not, firing Tubby is absolutely the right move to make! It was clearly a terrible fit for both parties.

LOL. The agreement of separation is that Memphis will pay the buyout per the terms of the contract, otherwise an agreement wouldn't have been reached so quickly.

Season's over, coach is canned, time to move on. Hopefully, they can make the kind of coaching choice they've made in football lately.

I will give 'em one thing, though -- those whales are willing to pay for their mistakes. That's a lot of cash down the drain for them. Glad they have it to blow.
