RE: Dropping MAC teams
Why can't the tourney start a week earlier so students are on campus and can attend the games. What is the point of a home playoff game when students cannot even attend?

Cheaper for the league for not having to reserve the Q for an extra day, cheaper for the fans for not making them spend Tuesday and Wednesday in Cleveland, logistically better for the teams for not having to spend those extra days in Cleveland or be forced to make a second trip.

I think WMU is dragging down back MAC MBB. 03-lmfao

Yep!

That too.

Marshall wouldn't help the recognition anyways.

LOL meanwhile all three teams that FTheChips wants out of the MAC are in Cleveland this weekend.

Sorry we are on spring break? And once again, I know you're slow, but my proposal was for football teams. FOOT... ball, not BASKETball... FOOTball. There, I spelled it out for ya. 03-wink WMU has never been a basketball school and probably won't be in the foreseeable future, we are a football and hockey school. Basketball comes third here, that being said it is still the same caliber if not better than EMUs basketball program.

How about winning more than 1 bowl game in the history of your program before calling yourself a FB school?

You haven't been paying attention. I already voided that result in an earlier post. I get that you're afraid that you took a team to OVERTIME (on a called back TD in the 4th) when your story is that we aren't even an FBS team.

Quit complaining- we’ve had longer, dumber threads on this topic any number of times. Well, longer anyway.

I haven't caught up with all of the nonsense but yes EMU is slowly regaining its competitive strength in football, men's hoops and women's hoops which was a very strong program not so long ago. Yes attendance is not what I hope it should be but football's attendance did improve last year and with a great home schedule this year (all Fridays and Saturdays) I am hopeful of continuing that upward trend of attendance. They did a better job of marketing both men's and women's season tickets and had some Black Friday and Cyber Monday ticket sales events that were great.

Yep, we hear the same thing every year, EMU is on the rise, EMU is improving, EMU will be better, and yet every year the stands are empty.

But those are the facts Mr. Troll.
