Cal crying about being sent to Boise on ESPN just now was priceless!

If we make it that far, it'd be Cronin's 3rd Sweet Sixteen trip through Nashville(Twice with Cincinnati, once with Murray State) didn't know that.

He was referring to the OVC Tournament with Murray St., not NCAA Tournament

Why does Cal get his annual FaceTime every year to cry about how mistreated his poor little team is. You get a team of superstars every year, yet underache in Nov through Feb, and expect to be rewarded for finally playing good at the end of the year.

I mean, the team is usually chocked full of all americans....you dont' want to go to boise? Ok then DO SOMETHING above and beyond lose 10 games in the regular season.

We play at 2 PM on Friday. I am fine with that start time. I had the 9:15PM starts because it's the only thing on my mind the entire day. Lets roll GSU, and see who we get in the 2nd round.

This Georgia St team is not a typical 15 seed. Top 100 on kenpom. 4 guys that shoot 40%+ from 3 with over 100 attempts. plays zone exclusively on defense. top 10 in the country in 2p% defense. they don't turn it over and they force a lot of turnovers. they are better than tulsa, memphis, uconn, all those teams.


guys gotta be ready for friday. can't play a half like we did vs memphis yesterday.

I was shocked they were a 15 seed. I was thinking 13 or 14 seed for them.

I completely agree with not taking a team for granted...but they're the third best 15 seed by those metrics. If we lose to them...well...that's an if I'm not even willing to entertain.

We just won the AAC tournament and you're worried about Georgia State? Sweet Lord, enjoy the win for 24 hours before you start thinking how we might lose to a 15 seed. What about the problems we pose to Georgia freegin' State? You think Coach Cronin is going to take any team lightly?

maybe he was looking for elucidation. who cares. stoked about getting a great draw. would love to play virginia. i'm thinking a game in the mid 40's. chip peterson or whatever his name is on cbssports called it the rock fight of the century.

the great thing about getting such a good draw, is that you can't complain if they lose a bit earlier than anticipated. sure it'll be more disappointing but you won't boundlessly speculate for clarification. no excuses. bring it *****
