I'd like to know who the coaches were that were supposedly "giddy" when they heard that Marshall was hiring Danny D. I'll admit I wasn't sold on the hire at first either but he has certainly proved everyone wrong.

You guys were 150 in Ken Pom last year and 115 this year. You beat UTSA and Southern Miss to get to the finals. Is that really showing people wrong?

Actually I like D'antoni's coaching style. Very fast, lots of movement. Congrats. You won the games you needed to. We did not. plain and simple.

Congrats Marshall! I don't think anyone can deny that you have the fourth best team in the conference when Jhivvan Jackson is injured.

We had an easy path to the final last year too.

And you are sooooooooooooo pathetic you get beat at your own game today and don't even make it to the title game. Jeff Jones played "The First To 50 wins" and ODU couldn't even score 50. A whopping 49 points in a game, Marshall's lowest scoring game this year was against Chattanooga, a 70-66 win.

ODU scored 22 in the 1st half and 27 in the 2nd half. I thought at the beginning of the season ODU said they had "Shooters" coming in.
