Less than 0? We haven't done a thing to get any awards. We might get the cupcake slayer award though. Kelvin Sampson has to be a shoe-in.

Josh Pastner won it for finishing 9th in the ACC.

I'm voting for Jeff Lebo though,

Sampson first, Tubby or Cronin Second would be my guess.

But I also agree that only reason Tubby gets any consideration is because of the team he brought back no one expected to be good. They did overperform expectations.

4th through 6ish I think.

Houston picked 6th and Tulsa 8th in the AAC coaches preseason poll. (Memphis 9th).

I think SI had Houston 6th.

Sampson or Cronin.

My vote goes to Ollie. He needs to be propped up as long as possible at UCONN, as we've figured out how to beat them.

Tubby exceeded expectations more than any other coach in the conference this year.

And missed the NIT. Sampson took a team that had zero postseason predictions and is going to make the NCAA tournament. That’s a pretty big jump.

Make no mistake, Tubby has done a great job this year. However, hopefully the coach at Memphis will never win coach of the year for finishing 5th.

He'd get votes ... but isn't the award before the tourney. I'd pick Cronin ... then Sampson.

I think Sampson gets it without question with what is left.

If Cinci beats WSU Houston finishes second in the league. If Cinci loses to WSU heck they finish second in the league.

And we must have pissed Houston off...They were up 49 on ECU at halftime...

May be able to finish a handful of spots above projection due to league injury issues.

Tubbys not going to win any coaching award this season. He may next season if things go right.
