1) Ass beating against a team we should beat at home.
2) Nice effort after the heart breaker on Sunday.
3) So much for the two game losing streak.
4) We maintain our full game lead on the conference championship.
5) Another sip from my IPA...

Nice game from the subs.
Scott had a very nice game. 9 rebounds, 9 points, 4-5 shooting, 2 assists his only real negative was 1-4 FT shooting. For all the hate Scott gets on this board he is near Clark's level on rebounding and he finally showed a little offensive ability.
Moore went 4-8 from 3 and looked good defensively.
Jenifer played only 7 minutes, starting to become a theme. PG this game was mostly Evans/Cumberland with Broome playing a fair amount off the ball (and also a fair amount of the big lineup with Evans/Cumberland/Moore).

Great bounce back...I'm liking the fact that our younger guys in the front court are getting some pre-"game in hand" time this year.

Always crickets when we win. Tough to bash Mick on nights like tonight. Got the starters a bunch of rest and the bench a good bit of work. Well done Cats.

Glad to see the Cats bounce back 92. UCONN is not good, and being without their leading scorer makes them even worse. I guess no one feels like celebrating beating them.

Regarding Jenifer's PT, Mick said in the postgame he was ill but still wanted to get out on the court.

We also just evened up the all-time series with them at 13 apiece. I think I heard we've taken 7 of the last 8.

UCONN is really bad, especially without Adams. Sorry, but not gonna move the needle.

OK. I give. Did anyone listen to Coach in his post game? The whole focus was on how poorly we played D. We are not an elite offensive team he said, we will never be. Trey Scott will only make an impact by being tough, as he will never have the offensive game to blossom. I do not understand this. Why? Why can we not develop players offensively? This makes no sense to me. Kmart was a spazz his freshman year offensively but continued to improve into the player of the year. Didn't Bobby Brannen also lead us in scoring his senior year, and I am sure there are other examples. I just don't get this.

The problem has always been this staff. It’s not great at recruiting and not stellar at developing talent. It’s ok, and we’ve gotten ok results out of it. Mick needs to upgrade the bench staff if he wants to make a move to the next level.

Plus game threads in general an outlet to vent, not celebrate. The losing game threads naturally outstrip the winning ones.

Lol at Houston now losing to Memphis and UCLA losing. We literally haven't beaten a tournament team this year. Seriously and f*ck the AAC. Houston losing to Memphis is so AAC.

Enjoy the misery man. We're three games from winning the conference championship outright.

So you just punt? Play defense? Not buying it.

I'm saying you can't develop something that isn't there. Scott is very limited in many aspects. You can't just make him have tools and then develop the tools. It doesn't work that way. Honestly, the kid shouldn't have a scholarship because I just dont see what he gives us. He's basically Shaq Thomas II. Other than athletic, what can he do?
