App plays the three teams below them in the standings in their final three games, so there's a chance to finish 10-8 and come in fourth (or third if the right results happen).

Problem is...so does ULM, and they are ahead of you guys right now.

Have we won three in a row this year? With two of the three on the road, no reason to believe that happens. I would be pleased with a .500 finish in conference play.

I don't think much of anything will get decided until the final game of the season, with exception of 1,2,11,and 12

Lets geaux ULM finish third then you have a chance for an all Louisiana or Georgia final of course I want the Louisiana but either one would be a fun final for the SBC title.

I don't know if I can live through another Southern/State final like the one a few years ago. Losing by just two points to State in the championship...that blew...

Yeah. 38-36. America was thrilled.

-------------------------
Cajuns can clinch a tie with a win at Troy and win it outright if they sweep the Alabama schools. I don't expect to sweep that trip. Troy is dangerous and South has been nearly unbeatable at home.

They'll be heavily favored in their final two games against stAte and LR.

Like America would have cared if the score had been 78-76 and it was the Cajuns beating the Mavs.

Honestly, I think having such a ridiculously low score made it a little more memorable. I can remember the lead-in on ESPN being something like, "[some sportswriter] says that failing to score 50 points in your conference championship game means you shouldn't go to the tournament. Well, what if you don't score 40...?"

That game was BRUTAL to be at and the only saving grace was that we won.

All teams in the conference should have ESPN3 broadcasts. Come on Texas St, time to modernize!

Stop....Just stop it! That is forward thinking. Actually, no, it's common sense. Don't pressure Larry like that!!

Kevin Hervey, the preseason player of the year (but certainly won’t be the post season POTY) did not start today, but did play.

For a number of years, we held the D1 record for fewest points in a game (I want to think it was 28). Fortunately, someone "bested" that record and I want to think it is 22, but I'm too lazy to look it up.

The shot clock in basketball was introduced by the Sun Belt after South Alabama and New Orleans played a 22-20 SBC Championship game.

13 3-pointers from tying NCAA record
1. She's a guard
2. She's only 5'4"
3. She has 1 more year

TXST earns 1st round tournament bye
