ULM 5 wins in a row now and moves in to 3rd place in the conference. Really like how this team is hitting their stride.

App/Ark st may not see an uglier game this year. Just had basketball, but hey let’s do it five more minutes.

Our 7th straight loss, and 8th of our last 9. . . . just pathetic

. . We should just skip the tournament this year . . .

The honest truth is, considering we were without our top 2 scorers, that's a decent performance out of us. Better than what we normally put up.

Now you guys looked like crap...

There is no way I looked like crap as I lazily watched the espn3 coverage while rubbing any and all greases readily and easily available on my white v neck. I do not look like crap - ever.

Cajuns defeat Troy 81-76 to win a share of the Sun Belt regular season title. First Cajuns conference game decided by single digits.

So we clinch 2nd with one more win, correct? (With the unlikely possibility of a share of the title still on the table...)

ULM with three games left against Troy, Ark St., and UALR. Would love to win those three and hold on to the 3rd seed.

My question is: If UL wins every game from here on out and loses in the SBC Tourney finals, what are the chances they get an NCAA at-large bid with a 29-5 record? Seems like it would be hard to leave out a team with that kind of a record, despite not having any elite wins.

If not us, I hope UL gets to go to the NCAA tourney. We need to send the most talented roster to represent our conference.

They finish the season with USA, Arkansas State, and Little Rock. They get no favors there RPI-wise and a loss is disastrous. In the tournament they couldn’t afford to lose to anyone other than Georgia State, but I don’t think they could even absorb that. We’ll see. I wish them the best of luck in either winning the tournament of a lot of people above them slipping up in a way they’re able to move up enough to absorb a loss and still get in.

I do not see the Cajuns listed on any of the “bubble teams” listed. CBS Sports even has MTSU listed as “on the fence” and they are 22-5, RPI of 23, and ranked in the top 25 poll. If they are on the fence then the Cajuns don’t have much chance. Which goes back to the big conferences loading up on home games and all building great records and having falsely inflated RPI as a result. The Big Ten complained about them being disadvantaged in baseball and they changed the RPI rules to where a road win or home loss is worth more and a home win or road loss hurts less. They need to do the same thing in basketball or the big leagues will continue to game the system.

Here is the head coaching record of Danny Kaspar:

Incarnate Word 219-52
Stephen F. Austin 246-141
Texas State 73-85 (5th season)

I don't what it is about winning at Texas State, it just seems like it is a struggle. Everett Withers is 4-20 in football. The 7-29 record the past three seasons in football is the worst three year run in Texas State football history. We have the resources, but the leadership at Texas State just doesn't seem to care.
