Why the over the top hyperbole? National pride is a good thing. We all want the same thing, to be proud of our country and our country men. We just disagree on how best to get there. Trump is so appallingly unable to unite us and give us a reason to be proud it's very hard.

I've heard all that before. I understand your passion, but I just don't see Obama as being such a completely bankrupt person as Trump. Hate Obamas policies if you like, that's your right. But the stark difference between Obama as a person and Trump is to me indisputable. Obama was a classy, loving husband. Never a hint of infidelity or crude comments. Basically he is a nice person. Trump? not so much.

We had a Battalion Chief who was a great guy. Loving family man, Deacon at his church and worked several hours a month for the local thrift shop that raised money or the needy. As good of a soul as you could have ever wanted. Didn't change the fact that he was a cluster **** as a fireground commander and leader of men in general. Much like this Battalion Chief Obama couldn't lead a pack of starving dogs to a gut pile.

The primary responsibility of the President of the United States is to be a leader. You know..."Leader of the Free World" and all.

I honestly don't care if Trump pisses in the flower vases in the Oval Officer as long as his policies benefit the country and he's a strong leader. So far so good. Being nice is somewhere around #238 in qualities that matter.

You may want a to revisit that last sentence. Trump knows, contrary to what libs think, the rest of the world doesn’t have to like him, but they damn sure will respect him. Have not had that in about 8 years. Putin learned that early on when he crossed obamas imaginary red line a got a military airbase blown to hell. He knew then he wasn’t dealing with another obama.
