Exclamation '18 Committ: DE Corteze Love
DE Corteze Love 6'3" 230lbs (good size, active upper body) Maybe he is the next Anthony Miller...but on Defense!!
http://www.hudl.com/v/27in06
*He wore out OT Ryan Winkel (CBHS) in this video, who committed to the UofArkansas

Sounds like we might have found a diamond in the rough. Looks like he was ineligible for the entire season. He only played 1 game....State Championship for Lausanne, and he was the Defensive MVP. I wonder if he is related to the other UofM Committ LB Nyle Love, who also played H.S. at Lausanne.

Sounds like a wasted scholarship to me. Surely he's a PWO.

Tim Harris from Catholic did the same thing. Played in one game and was MVP. He turned out ok.

Tim Harris was a highly recruited player who picked Memphis over a ton of schools. Not even remotely the same situation.

Don't think he is related to the other Love.

I am pretty sure he was offered a scholarship.

He is from Mississippi. Played at a small private first two years...Marshall County maybe...played at Lausanne via Power Center as a Junior and had a strong year.... TSSAA didn't let those kids play at Lausanne this season as I believe they had to play at Gtown....so he and some others took the test and got accepted into Lausanne...other were allowed to play but he had to sit out as a transfer....played the last game and tore it up...

I heard some SEC schools were talking/evaluating him but some coaching turnover happened and new staffs didn't have a lot of tape to go on...

Seen him a few times and he is a athletic freak... I think he even played some RB as a junior. Will be interesting to see if they use him undersized speed rusher from the WDE or if they utilize his athleticism at OLB.

I was a fan of the kid having seen him a few times...you never know how a kid will truly turn out but I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if you look back in 2-3 years and he turns out to be one of the better players you guys signed.

Just watched 5 snaps of him from the hudl video and that was enough. Kid can play. After watching that, I’m excited to see what he can do.

Sure makes sense that your judgement on talent is much better than our coaching staffs'. What a laugh. Don't quit your day job.

Doesn't look overly fast...Seems skilled/coordinated.

If he is slow he could grow into a solid interior lineman 3-4 DE not a 4-3 DE

Looks like a wasted post to me. He will be one of the steals for the 2018 class for the Tigers, look for him to play a hybrid line backer. He will be in the rotation by the middle of the season.

Usually Coach Norvell announces by tweet the new commits. He hasn't lately, so I am not sure if that means he isn't a scholarship player and PWO or if Coach is just being silent about commitments with signing day being tomorrow.

He looks very impressive, just will be interesting to see what type size he will be in the future.

He can't tweet their name until we get back the NLI.
