Tubby is the coach. Malik is a snot-nosed kid who was a back up point guard on a mediocre team and lucky to be here. He should have been bending over backwards doing everything he can to follow the coach's instructions and make his team better.
Instead Malik, and his mother, are on social media starting a campaign against his coach's decisions. Does Malik think he going to take over the basketball program? Will his tirade open Tubby's eyes to the error of his ways? Does Mama think she's doing anyone any favors? And, does poor little 'Lik deserve any more time anyway?
Before throwing the player under the bus, I’d like to know the factors driving his improper action. It is possiible Tubby could have prevented the inappropriate outburst through better communication, for example.

Unless Tubby hacked Rhodes account it ain’t Tubby’s fault.
Your hate for Tubby is so severe you should probably refrain from commenting for awhile so you would be exposed so frequently

Perhaps I was not clear. Rhodes was wrong. His punishment was appropriate. However, the reasons for his wrong conduct should be evaluated. It is better to prevent a problem, if feasible, than deal with it after it occurs.
Remember, there is a history of player dissatisfactions and transfers under Tubby in his short tenure at Memphis. A little self-reflection might be in order for Tubby.

People do stupid stuff on social media , and college kids do a lot of stupid stuff. I get it, he’s mad he isn’t playing much. Just like Randle last year. Why play him if he isn’t playing well? I get it with Nickleberry. He’s young and could have three more years if he hangs around.
I don’t care what they say, he’s suspended for his social media bafoonery. That and possibly being untruthful and saying he was hacked (and it’s possible he was, but I sort of doubt it).
Years in the military taught me an important lesson. Know your value to the organization. Recently, Martin wasn’t happy after a couple of bad games. Tubby visited him and his family. Probably not gonna happen with Rhodes.

That don't make true, necessarily. Although, my guess is he did something to get left at home which is what spurred the whole #freelik thing in the first place.

Remember, Tubby is an older gentleman. Sometimes they tend to forget things. He may have forgotten he was punishing Rhodes, or at least why. So he reverted to an old stand-by: it was “something else...”.

Your crush had a problem with transfers. Tubby had players transfer his first year on the job which is normal. If he has more then 1 this year or a starter transfer then we can look at it as a problem, but last year is nothing to worry about by itself.
I get it . Transfers happen when there is a coaching ‘change. The only problem with separating the transfers this way is the NCAA doesn’t take the coaching Change into consideration with regards to our APR.
