I've heard it, but as an adult in the real world if something like that comes up I simply say, I don't want to discuss this let's talk about something else. Pretty easy.

Maybe the president asked him that because he had a suspicion that FBI upper crust had been bending him over the table and going in dry.

Of course, on that count we now know he was right.
