RE: Automobiles
Bought my first at 15. '65 Mustang. Had a real nice '62 SS a few years later. 20 some vehicles later, the 2 I would wish back. Lot of fond memories in my short wheel base '72 GM Van with a bed in the back too.

My Dad had an ice blue '67 Mustang until I was around 10 years old. I loved that car.

The cars I've driven (all were used, except for the Oldsmobile, which my parents bought new):

1983 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme - my mom's car - blue velour seats, and power steering that would cause the car to jump into the next lane if you barely touched the wheel. 03-lmfao

1989 Ford Escort - My parents bought this car, but I was the main driver. A drunk driver hit me when I was a block from the house, and it crunched like an aluminum can. The police don't know how I walked away from that wreck.

1990 Toyota Corolla - I drove that one until I bought MY official first car when I was in college, which was...

1989 Toyota Corolla - drove this sucker for years. When the transmission went completely out, I got...

1994 Nissan Altima - it was probably 1998-99 when I got this one. I kept it until I had a 2 1/2 year old, 14 years later. That car would probably still be running today.

2009 Honda CR-V - my current car, and I plan on driving it as long as the Altima.

My husband is a truck guy - he's had two Fords since I met him, and just got a used Chevy Silverado about a month ago.

My wife's first car was a Corolla. The damn thing wouldn't die.

Some of those old Cutlasses have a surprising following and can bring some decent coin if they are in good shape.

I seriously thought I was going to have that Corolla forever....then I had the Altima even longer.

RE: Automobiles
*83 Red (and rust) Toyota Tercel 4 door hatchback - learned to drive on it. When you pushed the A/C button "off" it was like hitting a turbo button.
*85 Black Toyota Celica Notchback - inherited from my sister when she bought her own 93 Celica. Great car, got me through high school and the start of college.
*90 Burgundy Ford Ranger - My father's truck, drove it temporarily after I blew the Celica's engine, also drove to do yard work for my grandmother.
*98 Blue Ford Mustang - My first car purchase. Bought her new off the lot and we are still together. She spends most of her time in the garage resting these days but I take her out for a spin once a month.
*07 Blue Toyota Tundra Doublecab - Most horsepower I have owned. I loved it but she drank gas like an alcoholic.
*12 Blue Nissan Armada - Daily drive and family travel vehicle. Have had it for about a year now and so far so good.

Which I wish I still had?

There's two.

The Celica, it was a great and fun car for a teenager. Of course my desire to have it back may be nostalgia from my youth.
The Ranger, nothing particularly spectacular about the Ranger but it was my father's final vehicle. After he passed eventually my nephew got it and dogged it out before selling it for scrap. I am admittedly still a bit angry at him for that.

I laughed out loud when I read this, because I remember my Ford Escort AND Corolla doing the same thing.

RE: Automobiles
Answering the poll, all in all my favorite cars I've owned have been Japanese (esp. Acura and Infinity).

Having said that, my wife and I have owned American and foreign cars over the years. My wife prefers foreign (except in case of SUVs). I used to be foreign only but the American cars have come a long way and although I would lean foreign (esp Acura and Infinity), I'm fine with some American cars (Ford) today.

Over the years here is a breakdown of cars I've owned, going back to high school:
Foreign:
1973 VW Bug Super Beetle- my first car. Bought it for $300 in 1987. It was a piece of crap, but it was a car, I bought it and it was mine. lol
Honda Prelude SI 2.0
Nissan Xterra 4x4
Infinity G35X
Acura TL

American:
Ford: Expedition, Mustang GT (twice), Winstar (my wife's grandmother died and it was given to us...not something I would have ever purchased), Crown Vic
Never had one problem with any Ford I've ever owned.

Most recently:
My last car was an Acura TL (an 18yr old girl was texting and smashed into the back of me and the insurance company totaled it-everyone involved was okay). I had not owned an American car in a while and decided to go American this time and went with a 2017 Ford Mustang GT 5.0. I really like it. I also got performance package so its geared higher than normal, has bigger brakes, etc etc etc. Its not luxurious or comfortable as my Acura was, but its not supposed to be. Its a six speed manual and its FAST.

1. 1984 Ford Bronco II Eddie Bauer Edition
2. 1986 Buick Park Ave (with blue vinyl roof!)
3. 1989 Nissan 240sx (the Nissan "Sex")
4. 1994 Acura 2.2CL (220,000 miles)
5. 1999 Honda Civic EX (wife's first new car)
6. 2003 Jeep Liberty Sport (underrated for getting around the snow, but pretty awful otherwise)
7. 2010 Mazda CX-7 Grand Touring (sneaky fast. We put big tires on it and it looked 1000x better than the OEM treads)
8. 2015 Honda Odyssey EX (those who don't drive minivans will never understand those that do, and vice versa)
9. 2016 Honda Accord Sport (great looking car but too under-powered. Last 4 cyl I will ever own)

Summer car: 1985 BMW 535i in zinnoberrot

Summer boat: 1993 ChrisCraft Scorpoin 23' with cuddy cabin.

Dream used car: 2011 BMW Alpina B5 BiTurbo Touring

Probably my next new car: Alfa Romeo Giulia TI
[Image: images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQtHnuBPqoUkemMpNxtz9-...4yzVG0TjBO]

And also zero turn John Deere mower. That's pretty awesome as well.

I saw a brand new Alfa Romeo the other day. It was in its natural habitat...on the side of the road.

The pontoon would work better on the side of the car. The car will sink with it on top of the roof.
