The facts contained in the Intelligence Committee's memo regarding the @FBI and @TheJusticeDept are jaw-dropping and demand full transparency. The House must make public the #FISAmemo immediately.

.@mattgaetz: "The allegations contained in this important intelligence document go to the very foundations of our democracy and they require an immediate release to the public in my opinion."

Just read the classified doc @HPSCI re FISA abuse. I'm calling for its immediate public release w/relevant sourced material. The public must have access ASAP! #Transparency

House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes told Republican colleagues in two closed-door meetings this week he has seen evidence that shows clear "abuse" of government surveillance programs by FBI and Justice Department officials, according to three sources familiar with the conversations, raising more questions about whether the controversial anti-Trump dossier was used by the Obama administration to authorize surveillance of advisers to President Trump.

The foundations of our democracy have been crumbling since the 60's. We're beginning to see the net effect...

"The squeaky wheel gets the grease." Republicans and Conservatives need to learn how to squeak. Being outraged in your living room, while on the computer is not enough. Say what you will about Democrats, and I often do, they can mobilize outrage and take to the street in a heartbeat.

Mostly true. Republicans don't have the activist gene like Dems, commies and socialists for sure. Nonetheless voters elected these Reps, they seem to be doing a good job on this, against the odds.

RE: Fisagate heating up
Mobilizing shows outrage and drives media attention which drives public opinion. Make no mistake about it, the people making the final decisions on this are political types. They will look very carefully at public opinion before they make those decisions on how to proceed. Because of our lack of public outrage we let Bill Clinton win in the Lewinsky scandal. He got to frame the debate as a sex between consenting adults issue. Where in fact it was much more serious than that. Clinton left himself open to all sorts of blackmail. And when the President is open to manipulations by foreign governments so are the people. Not to mention the optics of getting a blowjob by a 21 year old in the very office Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation or Roosevelt had his fireside chats. We should have been outraged and Clinton rightly drummed out of office.

Representative republic, but what the FBI, Justice Department, and Obama administration did will eventually be called treason.

I think a lot of them don't have jobs and families.

When you look at the Tea Party protestors, it was a lot of retirees who didn't have the same obligations.

RE: Fisagate heating up
Ive said for some time that we would know we were in the end-game of Russia-gate when the original FISA Court request that essentially began the whole investigation went public. That document is a time bomb as it proves that the entire investigation was nothing more than an attempt to use the US Intelligence apparatus to illegally spy on the opposition party. From there--it actually morphed into an attempt to undermine the election and later it evolved into an attempt to undo an election.

Calling my shot now---it will be a blockbuster event that will replace Watergate as the reference point for giant scandals. My guess is when its over---no Democrat will want Obama anywhere near any election event for the next 20 years (assuming he's not in jail somewhere).

Hillary's not in jail. Lois Lerner isn't in jail. What makes you think the Republicans have any stomach for prosecuting this stuff?

The people responsible for arresting and prosecuting them were corrupt Comey @ Co., and then Lynch. But yeah an up hill battle.

Those were both under Obama....and Hillary just had her case reopened. Who knows---they may not prosecute. Ford didnt. He pardoned Nixon so the country could heal (and it cost him the election, but it was probably the right move).

The Republicans need only make it all public and drip drip drip the details out over the next 3 years. Convictions dont really matter. Elections do. That said, there will definitely be people in jail--maybe not the big heavy hitters. Honestly, as long as the truth comes out---winning elections is more important than revenge convictions that might tear the nation apart even worse than it already is. 04-cheers

Good. By November it will be like having Nixon standing next to you in 1974.

The same people came out and said that there seems to be money laundering going on with the Trump organization and Russian. Did Bannon said in the quot in the book about money laundering?
