RE: 1/7 AAC Basketball Games
It's shocking to see Temple tank like this. They had done so well OOOC that 11 conference wins probably would have taken them to the NCAAs.
SMU, Houston and maybe UCF probably have done enough OOC to get to the tourney with 12 conference wins.
Tulane, Memphis, U Conn and Tulsa probably need 14 plus a couple of wins against Cincy/Wich.

It's not that shocking. It happened last year too.

I thought Temple would for sure be a top 6 team. 0-4 start is almost impossible to dig out of and their next game is @SMU.

Temple fans, do you think Dunphy will get fired if y'all finish 9-9 or worse in conference?

Maybe they could leave Pirrre-Louis behind in Dallas when they visit. He is going to be very good.... probably somewhere other than Temple.

I’m a bit sad that the only top third team’s fans that didn’t talk a crap ton of smack talk is the team experiencing the meltdown. I would enjoy this if it were SMU or Cincy but instead it’s just depressing.

One bright spot is that Temple's 3 freshmen who average a combined 8.7 ppg outscored their upperclassmen 21 to 18 today.

It's a long season. Hate to see you lose to a team as sorry as Temple. After all, they can't miss most every shot they ever take. Eventually something will fall. My only hope is our broken clock is right twice this year.

Stay Powder-Fresh, Shockers. Your talent is on display every night and it is very pretty. Your grit was on display against Notre Dame.

Trivia question. When was the last time Temple outrebounded an opponent? I've been looking and keep seem to remember. One trip to the free throw line means you're not driving to the hoop, not moving the ball around, and not pounding the bounds. What is Fran and staff teaching these guys?

Disgusted, fire Dunphy!!!

Temple stinks. Sorry for getting y’all’s hopes up with some nice early wins. Our coach has already retired and our players, except the freshman, have quit. Thank God we are a football school now.

WSU will join them before the season is over.
