Thats fine but pointing out local weather as examples to disprove the issue is idiotic

I recall the left using Hurricane Harvey as proof of global warming. We are only playing by their rules.

No you're playing the rules recycled over and over by both sides as soon as it's convenient. Last year we had a cold snap and the right did the same thing. Before that I think there was a hot week and the left did it.
Even who started it switches up every time.

Bring it.
Quote:Friday on MSNBC, climate activist Bill Nye warned conservatives to “watch out,” saying progressive blue states will “address climate change” on their own.
Nye said, “Only 40 percent of people in the U.S. think that Congress should be addressing this and that’s because certain conservative groups, especially from the fossil fuel industry, have been very successful in introducing the idea that scientific uncertainty, plus or minus two percent, is the same as plus or minus 100 percent.”
He continued, “There’s a lot of emphasis from conservatives on what are writ-large states rights. Just watch out, conservatives, if states rights include California, Illinois, New York — these places that, where people voted in a progressive fashion — watch out if all those places start to address climate change and then impose economic sanctions, either overtly or by default, on places that have not embraced the work that needs to be done. Then you’ll end up with this states rights working the other way.”

How exactly does one state overtly impose economic sanctions on another?

That doesn't prove the hockey stick. And neither the hockey stick nor the impact of human action has bee demonstrated conclusively.
We should probably be making sensible changes to minimize or eliminate or even reverse human effects on global warming. But that's sensible changes. We should not be doing stupid stuff just because we created enough hype to scare people.
Agree 100%.

Most of the civilized world live in temperate zones, ie between the tropics and the arctic/Antarctic circles. Weather is dependent on atmospheric patterns and oceanic currents. Some seasons are colder or warmer than others. We had a mild summer and are having a cold winter. In the early 2000s when global warming alarmists were gaining followers, we had a string of 3-4 summers that were hotter than I have seen in the other 39 years of my life, winters without any snowfall, and a hurricane season that ran out of names and included Katrina, Rita, and Wilma. That isn't climate change. The climate in most of the US is temperate. It is a weather pattern that is dominant for a couple of years before another pattern becomes dominant. The fact of the matter is that we only really have data for about a hundred or so years and really only about 20 years with decent technology. In an earth that is supposedly 4.5 billion years old, they have jack. It is all random chaos and cannot be controlled by people. If you sit around a campfire, every so often the fire will flicker. One cannot create an environment where that can be controlled. No different than the sun, which tends to pulsate in 10,000 year cycles, but even within the cycles, the energy is random and not uniform. We are getting a foot of snow tonight and 2 days ago there was nothing in the forecast. We can learn from science, but it will always be chaos.

Curious, what educational background or formal training do you have to arrive at conclusions like this which seem to contradict most scientific research? Or is this just you talking based on your 39 years of life experience?

They were making a statement, not looking out for the welfare of the birds.
Notice they brought the birds in, not that they opened a door and gave them the option of a warmer shelter if they wanted/needed it.

RE: Global Warming? Calgary Zoo Penguins Moved Inside Due To Cold Weather
New England Was Warned ‘Pipeline Constraints’ Could Cause Problems This Winter. Now It’s Happening
Pushing global warming, and then attacking coal and pipelines literally leaves people out in the cold.
Quote:While New England’s power grid operator predicted it would have enough energy supplies to meet demand this winter, it admitted there could be problems if record-low temperatures set in.
“While New England has adequate capacity resources to meet projected demand, a continuing concern involves the availability of fuel for those power plants to generate electricity when needed,” grid operator ISO New England reported in November.
“During extremely cold weather, natural gas pipeline constraints limit the availability of fuel for natural-gas-fired power plants,” the grid operator noted.
That’s exactly what is happening right now.
Unrelenting cold since late December has caused energy demand to spike, pushing up prices and straining supplies. New England power companies are struggling to keep up with demand.
