This is probably because they don't have enough money. They should raise taxes.

Like I've said many times before on the topic of Baltimore....they need to make up their rabbit-assed minds. They wanted an end to proactive police work and they got it. They were warned what as going to happen and they ignored it. They only have themselves to blame for the situation they are in. The Baltimore Police Dept was just fulfilling the wishes of the taxpayers and now said taxpayers want to complain. Just no pleasing people.

Has anyone here ever driven around in Baltimore outside of the tourist areas. Seriously. It is an absolute shitehole. It astonishing how fast democrats destroy a city. If you laid out a plan and had funding to ruin a place intentionally you could not do it more efficiently.

RE: Baltimore Residents blame violent crime wave on lack of policing
On whether the community wanted police to back off after the death of Freddie Gray

No. That represented our progressives, our activists, our liberal journalists, our politicians, but it did not represent the overall community. Because we know for a fact that around the time Freddie Gray was killed, we start to see homicides increase. We had five homicides in that neighborhood while we were protesting.
(quote from article)

Then these people should have quieted the "liberal protestors". They kept quiet so what was the police supposed to do. If you don't speak out the wheel making the most noise is greased. That's what happens in many cases. Fortunately, in our federal government NOW that isn't the case with protestors like BLM, Antifa, etc. they are just being ignored as should be. Otherwise, we'd be in the same predicament as we were with that other president.

Agreed. They need more money. That's the answer.

This is really a rather remarkable story, and it will make no difference. Is Democratic policy or control of Baltimore threatened in any way by the violent crime wave because of a lack of policing? Nope.

Another question: Has it changed in Chicago? Nope.
