At least the G5 keeps winning these games. Helps state the G5 should get an auto-bid if they expand the playoffs.

They are the national champs. 13-0. Of anyone wants to say otherwise you are wrong. Until you let us in the playoff anytime we have an undefeated team they will be the national champ.

Congratulations Central Florida fans! Your Knights were the better team today. I'm sorry you didn't get to play Georgia Tech in the regular season because that might have helped your cause.

Well, all except the MAC:

2014-15 Boise St beat Arizona (Fiesta)
2015-16 Houston beat Florida St (Peach)
2016-17 W. Michigan LOST to Wisconsin (Cotton)
2017-18 UCF beat Auburn (Peach)

Of course, UCF beat Baylor in the 2013-14 Fiesta Bowl, but that was BCS.

Next year the Fiesta will be the Access Bowl.

Congrats to UCF on an undefeated season. However, don’t try to go overboard on the National Championship talk. Even though I think UCF was ranked too low, there is no way they were a top 4 team this year!!

However, I think the biggest winner in all this is Scott Frost. The way he handled himself, and was so humble about doing this for the kids, he took a big step forward in the eyes of high school players throughout the country. Good luck to you Coach Frost.

I have no problem saying I don’t think they deserved a shot.

Playing in the AAC just isn’t impressive or difficult enough.

That said, congrats to UCF for a fantastic season.

UCF proved they should have been in the playoff. I hope all 4 so called "P5" teams lose their playoff games. (Yes, I know that's not possible).

Well, UCF just beat the team that beat Bama and won the SEC West...UCF should have definitely been in IMO

Agree with you. Great season by UCF, but they were not one of the top 4 teams in the country. They need to schedule better then Maryland and Georgia Tech (I know it was cancelled) in OOC games. And, before anyone says the Big P5 schools wont schedule home and homes, then you may have to play a 1 and done. It may not be fair, but it’s what needs to happen if you want to be taken seriously.
