RE: First year accomplishments of President Donald Trump
I really don't agree with him on trade and the wall. But I'm happy with Gorsuch and the other judges, and with the corporate tax cut (pretty much, "meh," on the rest of the tax bill).

I'll ask again.....what is your issue with his trade platform or the wall.....
we now have foreign entities scrambling to figure out how to combat as the USD is looking to invest internally AND one only has to look at crime rate reduction in El Paso once their border was 'shored' with a physical wall....
I'm meh on daca....deport when they screw up and simply move on and enforce the laws already in place......
I get you don't like the guy.....however, I don't understand how his ideology contradicts your posits over time....
isn't the latter that matters???

1. Didn't launch us into war
2. Didn't deport 11 million illegals
3. Didn't cause an economic collapse
You know, because these were things the lefties said would happen if he was elected.
didn't get impeached or have to appear before congress either.....
it's tough when you try to get up off the mat, and gravity becomes overwhelming when wearing a lead skull cap.....

Every Republican running in 2018 only have to remind people of Trump and the Republicans accomplishments and if the people voting for them aren't stupid and are determined to adhere to their Lib beliefs will vote the Republican vowing to continue Trumps promises into office. More accomplishments in one year than Oblunder had in 8.

I'm OK without a physical wall IF we enact virtual walls.
A few years ago Arizona passed a law penalizing businesses which employ illegals.
The first offense carried the penalty of losing your business license in Arizona for one year.
The second offense carried the penalty of losing your business license in Arizona forever.
Once the law was enacted illegals self-deported themselves to surrounding states.
However, with too many pro-illegals states, I think the wall is one part of the strategy. And it would basically pay for itself within a year, maybe two max.

Quote:GULFPORT, Miss. - Howard Industries, Inc., one of the largest employers in Mississippi, pled guilty in federal court Thursday to knowingly violating the federal criminal conspiracy law in its employment of illegal aliens at the company's electrical transformer plant in Laurel, Miss., following an investigation by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI).
Howard Industries entered its guilty plea before U.S. District Judge Keith Starrett in federal district court in Hattiesburg, Miss. The announcement was made by U.S. Attorney John Dowdy, Southern District of Mississippi and Raymond R. Parmer, Jr., special agent in charge of ICE HSI in New Orleans.
The Howard Industries transformer manufacturing plant was the subject of an enforcement action by ICE HSI special agents on Aug. 25, 2008, that resulted in the administrative arrest of nearly 600 unlawful aliens working at the plant. In pleading guilty, the corporation admitted there was a conspiracy to encourage and induce illegal aliens to reside in the United States, even though the corporation knew or recklessly disregarded the fact that these illegal aliens lived here in violation of the law. The conspiracy also involved Howard Industries' concealing, harboring, and shielding from detection illegal aliens, knowing and in reckless disregard of the fact that such illegal aliens had come to, entered, or remained here in the United States in violation of law.
Howard Industries waived indictment, pled guilty to felony charges, and agreed to pay a criminal fine in the amount of $2.5 million, an amount the corporation acknowledged is in excess of the fine amount ordinarily provided by statute for the single count of conviction. Under the federal conspiracy statute, a corporation is ordinarily subject to a term of not less than one and not more than five years of probation and a $500,000 fine.
