I'm from Florida, graduated from Memphis and have lived in Dallas for 36 years. Seriously, I have not met any goobers here. If anything, I have met some pretty smart people many of which moved here for a better life and better opportunities. I actually thought the goobers were in Georgia. And yes, Coach Norvell is from Arlington, Texas. He was born in Irving, Texas. Eleven members of our football team are from Texas.

Reading what the kid said about his meeting with new Hog coach i have a feeling he is leaning Hogs right now.

It's a little cool fer fishin' today... the biting may be slow.

According to his twitter page he will announce at 2 pm. Not sure about streaming.

Baylor has been on him the hardest and longest. They only have 1 scholarship QB on the roster. Here, he will have to compete and win the job. Baylor has the #26 class right now and desperately need a QB. Will be tough to overcome.

Correct but most high school kids don't see it that way unfortunately...good chance bohanon doesn't even play qb but for now he's being recruited as one.

Absolutely crazy to think he won't be playing QB.


While Baylor has been on him the longest, it's also 8x the drive from his home as opposed to Memphis! Mom likes Memphis.

Trust in NORVELL....Just look @ our RB situation! Those guys could start ANYWHERE! But because of what Norvell has instilled in the youth here has a system that he is building, Competition EVERYWHERE....We signed a 4 star Offensive Lineman Obinna Eze....He didn't touch the field this year...You think HE didn't want to start. The system is in place, If you got ALL of the TOOLS, AKA TJ Carter. Then there is your spot and as long as you continue to improve. It's there for you.... People aren't realizing and comparing this situation to others.....There is NO OTHER comparison to what can be done here @ MEMPHIS....ARKY made a HUGE mistake because JJ didn't want Norvell....We GOT HIM....The REST WILL BE HISTORY!!!!

I agree with everything you said but we'll see if that resonated with Bohanon.

We shall see if the driving distance to Baylor is an issue....
