No it's reality. I didn't get a job from a middle class person or a poor person.

You don't understand how an economy works, income inequality means absolutely nothing. Worry about YOU

This is the stupidest thing i've ever read in my life. Seriously, it's not even close.

Quote:Based on quarterly data released by the US Treasury, the debt at the end of 2008 — just before Obama took office — stood at roughly $10,699,805,000,000.

As of the third quarter of 2016, the most recent data available, the debt as Obama is set to leave office stood at $19,573,445,000,000.

Based on the website USdebtclock.com, which extrapolates the US national debt in real time based on committed government spending, the debt will be roughly $19.97 trillion when President-elect Donald Trump takes office on Friday.

Thus, the national debt under Obama will have grown by about $9 trillion, or an increase of 86%.

Its simple math mach... dont use that common core nonsense. 07-coffee3

Puhhhhh THAT. TIC!!!!!! You just lost a Senate seat in Alabama boys. Keep pulling **** like this and watch how far you get flushed down the toilet. You’ve been conned by the reality tv Star.

You literally have no idea what you're talking about. It's astonishing, really.

This massive 1.5 trillion straight up give away to the donor class. This tax bill is fixing shyt? It's not. There should be a corporate AMT at least. This process has been worse than anything that was done by the D's in 2008 and 2009 and I just hope the pay a similar political price.

Eric where above did I cite your name?

Also.... can you please cite where Obama added 9 trillion to the debt? ACtual citiations please.

Claim evidence and the Support.

CES

Facts out of thin air. Someone is quite good at that. Again...... please show "EVIDENCE" of Obama adding 9 trillion to our debt. Pleases and Thank Yous.

The only reason for an AMT is that there are so many preferences. Getting rid of the AMT saves billions in wasted money spent on programmers, lawyers and accountants. And the corporate AMT doesn't sting the taxpayer as much as the individual AMT. Its mostly just a bunch of unnecessary calculations and planning activities.

R's are in charge of 75% of that deficit you guys are bitching about!!!!!!!!! It's incredibly sad to me that we are 20 trillion in debt and we are even discussing this much less passing it!!!!

The job creators line is total BS too. This won't create the jobs that you polllyannas are singing. This is a dead ass give away to shareholders and CEO pay. It's a donor give away. Just wait to I post all of the carve outs.

Obama had veto power and made that clear that he would veto. Democrats controlled the Senate for the first 6 years and the House for the first 2 years of his presidency.

As it was, for the first time in the history of our Republic, under Obama, Reid and Pelosi, we ran the government without a budget being passed. Only when Republicans got control of both Congress and the Senate did one get passed. We went 6 years without a budget, running up deficits.

RE: In 10 years 53% of tax payers will be paying more in taxes.
You do realize it's not actually a tax cut if it has to "pay for itself"... right?

The government comes in and cuts my tax rate to 15% or whatever it is, but they limit deductions... they are going to make up that money somewhere. It is a sham.

If at the end of the day, the government doesn't LOSE money... then we didn't have a tax cut.

No Democrat or Republican is interested in reducing the size of government, it seems.

The only really great thing in this tax bill is the slashing of the Corporate Tax rate. That is going to help the economy tremendously!

Also, the title of this thread is funny. I'm assuming the Democrats will be back in charge in 10 years, and yes, we will all be paying more in taxes. Especially those evil rich people and corporations.

Mach, without it 100% of taxpayers will be paying a lot more as Dems can never stop themselves from raising taxes and spending on social programs with limited benefits except to folks that vote for them to stay in power.

Mach understand the cuts. While we're not going to be buying new Mercedes or BMWs from the cuts, what it'll do is encourage companies to stay and encourage new ones to come here or old ones to come back. Guess what that does? It boosthe economy. It brings back jobs. Gets people back to work. Do you hate when people work?

Not at all. I posted a while back rig counts and jobs from the oil service industry. The two lines used to correlate. Now there is a disconnect. We are becoming automated. I do not believe this tax cut will do what you say. This was a straight up boondoggle. The Corker kickback. I was reading carve outs last week that would make all of us puke. Well maybe not you guys because you are team over country but too many Americans. The majority of Americans. The people who do not watch the propaganda arm of the GOP Fox News this is an albatross and a straight up give away to the donor class.

Actually the premise is correct.

In 10 years many tax payers will be paying more in taxes because the economy will be so awesome that we'll all be making, and spending, a lot more money!

Thanks Trump!
