In 10 years 53% of tax payers will be paying more in taxes. - Machiavelli - 12-19-2017 07:14 AM

And our deficit is going to go up 1.5 trillion due to this boondoggle. People can’t be this stupid? Who could possibly support this? It’s going to be the most disliked piece of legislation in 30 years.

he obviously had no problem with a ~9T debt increase over 8 yrs, but is slamming a PROJECTED 1.5T increase over 10 years w/o giving any thought to those that want to have and option to work (which is what this tax plan is attempting to provide)

it truly is sad where the dems currently sleep and dream about as solvent planning.....

These tax cuts never pay for themselves. It’s just a straight up transfer of wealth to the GOP donor class. People that Trump campaigned on raising their taxes. Remember him saying I don’t need a tax cut the middle class does? Anyone? Then to ACTUALLY RAISE taxes on the middle class in 10 years. Puhhhhh THAT. TIC!!!!!! You just lost a Senate seat in Alabama boys. Keep pulling **** like this and watch how far you get flushed down the toilet. You’ve been conned by the reality tv Star.

RE: In 10 years 53% of tax payers will be paying more in taxes. - bullet - 12-19-2017 08:09 AM

Of course none of this expiration of the cuts will happen unless Democrats are in charge.

Its a game to keep the scoring of the deficit impact down below their agreed point so they can avoid the filibuster. And the scoring of the deficit impact is a game that doesn't reflect the real world. Its static.

So the only way taxes go up on the 53% is if Democrats control Congress or the presidency. If Republicans do, they will extend it another 10 years or make it permanent.

All of this is DC games and nonsense.

"...But while the tax cut is likely to increase the national debt over the next ten years, it is nearly a rounding error in comparison to the growth of entitlements. A tax code that places less of a burden on investment, by businesses and by parents, could be had without any increase in the debt; but it is worth having even in return for a modest increase...."

The GOP isn't du,mb like everybody says.... their smehrt........ they can handle things.......... What percent of Americans are in the stock market? 20% How many truly benefit from this. Then let's cut the estate taxes more to keep on consolidating that wealth. Let's continue on this path of favoring capital over labor. It's working out really well for the 20% with capital. BTW....... I'm one of those guys......... Kickin A__ taking names with my stocks. I know that this whole program is bad for your basic ass in the grass West Virginian though. Your basic Trump voter isn't getting that Wall Built or his job back. You just knew that this give away to the 1% was going to happen though. Those Donors and the Koch brothers had to get their tax breaks. The swamp was going to swamp. I just want to know when you guys will realize you have been conned. I've been around here long enough to remember when you guys defended W to the hilt too. Rinse repeat and the rich get richer and the poor will continue to get poorer.

you really have to live in a dungeon to not understand the net potential and immediate positive.....

I'll continue to pound this gavel.....it's become the battle between those that have and those that have not.....

the 'have nuts' are simply looking to protect the USD.......the 'have nots' are merely whining about what they won't or will never have....

oh wellzy.....

Trump campaigned on not cutting entitlements. Are you ok with being lied too?

How much has the govt. borrowed from Social Security? There’s that too.

You have zero credibility on this issue

Your Messiah added 9 trillion and you worship him.

Strange....... Who controlled the purse strings during those 9 years. It is YOU and YOUR BAND OF MERRY MEN who have no credibility. ZERO.... Did you dress up in a patriot Halloween costume too?

Here's a challenge you claimed i worshiped Obama adding 9 trillion onto the debt. Please cite the evidence for your claim. I guarantee you can't. I also know that Obama does not control the purse strings so the basis of your argument is fundamentally flawed.

Now I do like you Eric. Always have. Looked at you differently after the Jar Jar Binks thread being a Sith Lord. I really appreciated that thread.

It just really bothers me that people who bitched and complained and cheered when the govt. shut down over funding issues are hypocritical when thios boondoggle is being pushing through. This massive 1.5 trillion straight up give away to the donor class. This tax bill is fixing shyt. It's not. There should be a corporate AMT at least. This process has been worse than anything that was done by the D's in 2008 and 2009 and I just hope the pay a smiliar political price.

Think ObamaCare was to help sick people and their families. A medical diagnosis would no longer be a bankruptcy. That you threw the fits that you guys did over the ACA and then to hear peep from this room over that. The pro life party too btw. You would think on principal alone anyone who is pro life wouldn't have one bit of a problem with health care for kids. This tax bill cuts the funding or the bill has been frozen? That's a whole new thread. I'll start it.

Way to go GOP!!!!!! *** **** stellar achievement!

Are you talking about me mach?

You used my name but made a bunch of absurd imaginary accusations/suggestions of me being a republican voter, a Trump voter and even that I dress up and celebrate Halloween.

No one "creates" facts out of thin air quite like you my friend. That was a perfect example. I disagreed with you, so you just made up a bunch of silly nonsense about me that made you feel better.

Again, you lack any credibility.

How do you expect to grow the economy and give everyone free **** without cutting taxes for job creators?
