Actually it was to help with ECU's financial mismanagement.

Mission accomplished. 3 weeks in the league and you guys got a new coach.

You're welcome.

It is shaping up like a 4 bid league. Temple's SOS really helps them.

Lunardi also has Houston in his first 4 out, so 5 bids in the realm of possibility. AAC teams need to finish the non-con strong.

Yeah. The Houston/Providence and really SMU/Boise games are huge(not really for SMU, but to hurt Boise's resume).

And I'll say this, if UCF can get 11 or 12 conference wins, they're not out of it yet at all. 12 wins would get them to 21-9 and a RPI of 41.5. That probably gets them in. 11 would get them to 20-10 and RPI of 51.

As much as I would like to see Temple make the tournament, I don't think it will happen. What I saw last night was a team that completely gave up. They stopped caring/trying and to me that shows a team that wilts under pressure. I hope the team rallies from last night but I have never seen a more shell shocked and aimlessly drifting team after a game.

Drexel may pop them in the mouth Saturday and Temple decides they are done for the season...

UCF definitely isn't out of it yet, but 20-10 isn't getting UCF into the NCAA tournament. 21-9 could potentially depending on what wins they have.

At least your team gives up after the game begins...

UCONN "technically" isn't out of it yet either.

Emphasis on "technically."

How many AAC schools can say they were projected 1 seeds in bracketology twice in the last 4 years?

Just sayin.

I watched the Houston-LSU game last night. That game was winnable for Houston, and I thought UH played decently. A win on the road against a decent LSU team would have been a nice win for Houston and the conference. Rob Gray is a great player, but he has a shoot first, pass second mentality that really hurt Houston in the closing minutes last night.

I'm guessing a couple years of that has created the "watch Gray first, run offense second" mentality that was happening too. No doubt he can really fill it up though. Houston is a very interesting team. I think it was really their defense that let them down last night.

Of the 32 conferences, only 8 (25%) receive projected multiple bids.

When you win 6 games, of course not.

I’m just saying. It’s hard to do and it’s only happened to very selective company. Good pub.

Not all of us are coached by NCAA tournament extraordinaire Kevin Ollie. We need that easy path.

But Temple does have a great non-con SOS. If they pick up the next 2, they will really be in pretty good shape.

I don't think that's necessarily true. Cincinnati made the tournament in C-USA with 17 wins. The deck is stacked against us, but I do think that teams with a consistent track record of making the tournament can get the benefit of the doubt, even outside the cartel.

I mean, if the committee is paying attention, Perry is the only coach in the AAC, and one of few in the country that is still undefeated this season.

Interior D looked awful. Definitely needs to tighten up if were going to finish in the top third of the league.

Yeah, maybe. Somebody has to finish in those spots, and all the teams have some question marks.
