Complete list of outstanding Tribe receivers is long...and painfully points out our lack thereof this season.

No list complete without Vito Ragazzo, Chuck Albertson, Chris Rosier, Corey Ludwig, Kurt Wrigley, Josh Whipple, Chase Hill, Joe Nicholas, Terry Hammons and, of course, Dominique Thompson (Thompson had, perhaps, the greatest individual season of any W&M receiver in 2004).

Let's hope their likes show up next season.

Add Jim Cavanaugh to that list.

Add David Knight. He had one great game on MNF for the Jets and Cosell raved about his circus catches.

And why not add Mike Tomlin, just because.

David Knight and Rich Musinski had the softest hands of anyone I have ever seen play at W&M. If it came even close, those two caught it. The catch by Knight in the end zone at City Stadium is still legendary.

Will be great to have Dedmon back next season. And Amonyae Watson is really good. Along with the returning receivers that group will be special.

Ah, my bad, I got confused. I was thinking of Dave Conklin who played in the late '90s. I looked him up and I see that he ranks third all-time in receptions and second all-time in TD's and receiving yards. I also fondly remember several that BigTribe3 mentioned, including Josh Whipple and Dominique Thompson.

While looking at the records page, I see that Dedmon is on there several times for kick/punt return average from his 2015 campaign. Hopefully he will be back to full health next year and go out with a bang!

Chris Rosier has already been mentioned but he made one play against Hampton that created the strangest reaction to a football game I have ever seen by a college president.

Conklin and Rosier were teammates. Conklin set records that were almost immediately broken by Musinski.

This signing seems to really be flying under the radar. He might not have FBS skill but he does have FBS athleticism.l can’t wait to see the player our coaches help him develop to be in the coming years.
