I ignored those talking points given the dems ignored 10T of new debt under Obama..
Quote:It's closer to 5 years for lower income folks.
Fine, let's give you five years. You don't think there will be changes to the tax code in the next five years?
Quote:And it's not just some people, it's a LOT of people! Pretty much everyone earning under 75K a year will have a tax increase by 2027
Hey it's 2017, that means 2027 is 10 years away, not five. Pick something and go with it... Just put your talking points in some kind of sensible order, would you..
1. The GOP campaigns on the importance of lowering the deficit, the Dems don't, therefore critiquing the GOP on their plans to raise the deficit simply points out their hypocrisy and the disingenuous nature of their beliefs. Deficits matter less than making sure tax cuts are passed, but deficits matter more than healthcare, child nutrition, and virtually any initiative passed for the public good. Offhandedly dismissing this is pretty transparent, even for you. And that's doesn't even begin to go into the utterly flawed concept of tax cuts during times of growth.
2. You're literally saying "I bet things change before the worst parts of this bill are enacted" as if it's a compelling argument. The obvious counter being, why the f*ck you supporting something if you acknowledge it needs to change?
This is bad, even for you.
What’s painfully transparent, and is willfully and chronically ignored by the socialist left is very simple:
We DO NOT have a confiscatory tax problem, we have a massive, massive spending problem.
This budget may, might increase debt by a trillion bucks over ten years.
In that same timeframe “we” will bring in something in area of 30-40 TRILLION.
We can’t make due on that?
Add in that is assuming the same crap economic performance as we’ve had under the previous admin, even a 1% increase in GDP and even the socialists will be thrilled to their jimmies.

LOL I never said it wasn't in it. It's just the fact that you are an unreliable poster so everything you say has to be questioned and verified.
My "platform" as an incident commander on a structure fire was to save lives and property. There were times when we had to write off property to save lives. That didn't make us hypocritical, it's called setting priorities. The priority here for the GOP as witnessed by it's placement in the platform list was tax reform so that's what they've tackled first.
Never thought I'd say this, but you've convinced me. When you put it that way, it's not hypocritical to raise the deficit when you campaign on lowering the deficit. I know it fits the literal definition of hypocrisy, but it isn't, because you worked at a job.

1. Sure, Obama did and said hypocritical things, not at all sure how that's a defense of GOP hypocrisy.

I understand you have no concept of priorities in the real world since you spend all day everyday in here posting your falsehoods and leftist talking points but it's a reality that anyone who has real world experience understands. Sometimes lower priorities will fall victim if it means accomplishing a higher priority. In this case the higher priority is taxes so there will be what is a minuscule increase in the deficit over 10 years compared to what was added over the past eight to accomplish the higher priority of revamping the tax system first.
But perhaps the disconnect here we are using words that pseudo-intellectuals like you don't understand. You know...like priority.
Quote:Definition of priority
plural priorities
1 a (1) : the quality or state of being prior
(2) : precedence in date or position of publication —used of taxa
b (1) : superiority in rank, position, or privilege
(2) : legal precedence in exercise of rights over the same subject matter
2 : a preferential rating; especially : one that allocates rights to goods and services usually in limited supply
that project has top priority
3 : something given or meriting attention before competing alternatives
Maybe that will clear things up for you. If not get an adult to read it to you slowly. Or a third grader to write it out in crayon.

and that's only b/c the dems squashed the real #1 (ACA repeal/ref0rm).....
I'm still awaiting to see if this tax package includes eliminating the penalty......that's another biggie that NOBODY is talking about (or maybe I missed something).....
that right there is a combined 10k savings for those that do it their 'own' way if single or 16k if married.....

Your #3 is wrong. ACA actually has limited coverage for a lot of folks.
Not shocking when you consider the source.
The number of uninsured went down drastically, what was required to be covered under that insurance increased, and they could not refuse those with pre-existing conditions. What metric are you using come to the conclusion that the ACA has limited coverage?
Lol.
Cause it was “mandated”, dummy.
When threatened by the federal government, many people will do things they would really prefer not to do.
Hey UCF, from the democrats platform "We will also ensure that new spending and tax cuts are offset so that they **do not add to the nation’s debt over time.** "

I rarely neg rep point anyone either, unless deserved.
Continually lying that I'm somehow lifting my comments here from any set of talking points (especially when I loathe the DNC as much as the RNC), and without ever showing any evidence of it is moronic and should have no place here. And while I ignore most of it considering the source, it gets really old.
And then when I do decide to give someone a neg rep point, it nearly ALWAYS results in an immediate ding back at me.
Finally, I use harsh words for effect. That should not be taken as a sign of me being emotional or angry. I actually find the whole thing amusing, and sad really.

I'll gladly call them that. Of course that's a pretty loaded stance. Saying "new" spending and then never defining "time" LOL

But of course Dems are hypocritical about all sorts of things, you keep thinking that you'll get some gotcha moment from me but you don't realize I don't treat this like a team sport.

Probably just the lobbyists who wrote much of it. Congress certainly hasn't.
Gotta pass it to know what was in it... When it was pointed out that it was mathematically near impossible for the dems to have read O-care before voting on it all we got from guys like you was
Much like Obama's massive increases in the debt were OK and a slight increase under Trump isn't it was OK for a dim congress to not read bills before passing them.
It's almost like if you make lowering the deficit an intrinsic part of your party platform, and you then raise the debt, that makes you a hypocrite. It's the GOP who harp on the deficit, holding them accountable for a subject they claim is very important is logically consistent, and entirely defensible.
So, you know, try again.
There is a difference in reducing tax rates that have a good chance at restarting the economy, creating jobs, letting folks keep more money in the wallet than the Dems adding more and more taxes that help nothing but being another burden on Taxpayers while increasing social programs the benefit only Their supporters. We had 8 years of nothing in return. Time to move forward with growth.
