CFP BS
I was just watching the Wisconsin/Ohio St. halftime show and the talking heads were discussing who should be in the CFP should the score hold up. To a man, all 4 of the announcers said that Ohio St. should go in ahead of Alabama. The reason they gave was that Ohio St. would be a conference champion.
Flashback to last year - Ohio St. loses to Penn St. and Penn St. wins the Big 10. Ohio St. gets voted in. So, just how important is winning the conference championship? Well, last year it wasn't that important, so why is it so important this year?
I'm so tired of this BS. I'm not saying that Alabama or Ohio St should or should not get in, it's the principle. Let's do it right. Let's expand the playoffs to 8 teams and make it fair (AAC, ACC, Big 10, Big 12, Pac 12, SEC, 2 at large).

RE: CFP BS
The SEC was very average this year. Definitely not like in years past. Prob. the 3rd or 4th best P5 conference. Alabama and the rest of the conference benefited from inflated preseason rankings. Nothing more. Alabama is not as good as people are giving them credit for. They have no good wins, only decent wins. They have ZERO wins vs the Top 15. ZERO. They didn't even win their division let alone their conference. They squeaked by all season in the polls because of their name and preseason over-hypeness. Bama would get killed by Clemson, Okla, OSU, and UGA.

RE: CFP BS
I actually think ucf has a chance to get in, call me crazy but if the 4th spot becomes a crazy debate between bama and tOSU wouldn't the move that makes the most sense and ruffles least feathers be to put in UCF?

Have you not been looking at the standings each week?

RE: CFP BS
Alabama:
-ZERO top 15 wins
-didn't win their division
-didn't win their conference
-best win is vs LSU (who lost to Troy earlier this year)
-SEC is/was very overhyped before/during this season

College football was never really about the "best team on the field".

Yea and it actually is promising. Look at the huge jumps the committee is able to make. They have full control of where they put a team you can see someone go from 10 to unranked or 20 to top ten.
It's not like the AP poll where there's so many votes that basically you only move a couple or drop a couple , the playoff committee is supposed to find the best 4 and up until now it didn't look like ucf was one
Now it does because you can't justify any team ahead of them in the playoff if ohio State wins.

RE: CFP BS
Please.
It’s Alabama and Ohio State. The two most entitled teams in the country.
Honestly, between the two I’d pick Bama but I don’t care - either team should get beaten in the CFP.

Troy is 10-2
Lost to SEC West champs
Broke top rate Florida state, made their coach quit
Lost 5 games in 6 years
Won 6 out of last 10 ncs
Make no mistake. Bama is ruthless

RE: CFP BS
OSU: 11 wins, TWO top-10 wins, a division and conference championship
Bama: 11 wins, ZERO top-15 wins, zero division/conference championships
It's a no brainer that OSU should be over Alabama.

RE: CFP BS
Again, bama has zero top 15 wins....ZERO. Why? because the SEC is not very good this year. That's not a playoff resume.
Ohio State has TWO top 10 wins and won their conference. Y'all need to quit listening to the ESPN talking heads.
