They actually have more basketball history than Rice, as they used to be Pan American- NAIA Championship when NAIA was still something. Luke Jackson and Otto Moore played there, Texas stole their coach, Abe Lemons, who had so much success Daryl Royal had him run off.
Still should not lose to them.
