I don't see it as of right now. It was discussed and it's possible with a little chaos. As of now most believe that is an elimination game. The schedule kind of balanced out for Clemson.
Louisville is 6-4 NR.
VT is NR.
The Auburn win and the NC State wins are propelling them at the moment.
There is still a lot of football to be played for the top 7 right now though.
#1 Alabama vs Mercer and @ #6 Auburn.
#2 Clemson @ South Carolina.
#3 Miami vs Virginia and @ Pitt.
#4 Oklahoma @ Kansas and vs West Virginia.
#5 Wisconsin vs Michigan and @ Minnesota.
#6 Auburn vs ULM and vs #1 Alabama.
#7 Georgia vs Kentucky and @ Georgia Tech.
The biggest issue I see right now is that since Virginia Tech got knocked out of the top 25 by Georgia Tech it gives Miami 1 top win.
1. Bethune-Cookman FCS W 41-3
2. Toledo- respectable G5 W 52-30
3. Duke 4-6 (1-5) W 31-6
4. @ FSU 3-6 (3-5) W 24-20
5. Georgia Tech 5-4 (4-3) W 25-24
6. Syracuse 4-6 (2-4) W 27-19
7. @ North Carolina 2-8 (1-6) W 24-19
8. Virginia Tech 7-3 (3-3) W 28-10 (This one stings because of the Georgia Tech loss, it knocked Virginia Tech out of the rankings)
9. #8 Notre Dame 8-2 W 41-8
They have this left.
10. Virginia 6-4 (3-3)
11. @ Pitt 4-6 (2-4)
Other than the Championship game they really don't have anything left to impress the committee with. Also, since Virginia Tech plays @ Virginia in their final game of the season it'll leave Virginia @ .500 (If Miami and Virginia Tech beats them) or if Virginia wins it will keep Virginia Tech out of the rankings, leaving them with 1 top 25 win and they need to hope Notre Dame can win out against Navy and @ Stanford to keep it that way. I just don't see enough there with them having a loss to keep them in even if its a loss in the ACC Championship game.
Like I said though, there is so much football left to be played.
Alabama could beat Auburn and Auburn is done.
South Carolina could beat Clemson and they would probably be done when paired with the Syracuse loss.
Michigan and Ohio State could both beat Wisconsin.
Oklahoma could lose to WVU and either TCU or Oklahoma State in the Big 12 champ game.
Miami could lose to UVA or Pitt.
Georgia could lose to Kentucky or Georgia Tech.
We have already seen a few crazy things happen. Still a ton that could happen to shuffle the teams up a bit more.
