Marshall ladies get Penn State at home tomorrow. Penn State escaped with a 2 point win at their place last year.

I loved how hard the girls played! Notre Dame just had to much size and we just could not keep them off the boards. Game was closer than the ending score

It was a virtual coinflip decided by 2nd place votes.

But you act like the Lady Raiders didn't just win at Vandy by nine without the preseason player of the year.

The "big scrap" will be for first.

RE: #6 Notre Dame @ WKU
Vandy lost to someone last night that made you scratch your head......

I thought WKU girls would go down a little bit losing players like NOble and JOnes, jury is still out but we finally have a girl 6-4 who actually has some skills which is nice to see...However to be successful moving forward we cannot constantly have Ivy and Eldgeway in foul trouble every game, our guards are going to have to rebound better and keep teams from killing us on offensive glass....

Really surprised by having a crowd of 5K+ last night, that was unreal, didn't think BG had it in them to attend a girls game like that...Sad we will go back down to 1500 for most all other games but still shows we can at least draw for a big time opponent...

A freakin joke. Middle has replaced tulane as the official manipulator of pre season polls. A player who throws a temper tantrum during a game and basically quits is not worthy of a preseason poy vote.
Middle was first because your staff voted western WAY down the line. Just like tulane used to always have ONE first place vote.

Tulane always had "ONE first place vote"?

We had six. What other five coaches did Rick collude with? Eight first place votes vs six. I couldn't care less if Insell voted Western 14th, it is clearly a two team race for first.

The "freaking joke" is mentioning Tulane WBB in the same breath as the Lady Raiders, who in twelve years under Insell have made the NCAA tournanent nine times and the WNIT three times.
