Next up is Hawaii, who is 2-0. Would be nice to get a win over a MWC team.

Cal State-Bakersfield is coached by Rod Barnes who preceded Ron Hunter at Georgia State. Barnes was 1-1 against Georgia Southern in 4 years at State.

What's Georgia Southern have in the frontcourt? Anyone other than Allsmiller? (Did I get his name right?)

I know their backcourt is filthy, but if they have a decent frontcourt this year they will be tough to beat. You could beat them in the post last year.

AState led the entire way, including by 20 plus at different points on the way to a comfortable 83-69 win over Abilene Christian.
