So, we finally figured out the best way to keep the punter from beating us is to score on every drive.

Couldn't let the game end without the defense getting in on the scoring!

Well, couldn't ask for much better than that.

Rest up for CMU on Wednesday.

He was on the sideline, but not in uniform.

Wow. Sad I missed this one.

When is the last time we beat a MAC team by 20 or more? Has to be quite a while.

Looks like last time was Buffalo in 2005, 38-14. So yeah, it's been a while...

Jeff Hubbard, wasn't it? The run after int was exceptional. He looked like a punt returner to me.

Sounds like you are on to something. In the post-game audio, Hubbard says the coaches like his ball skills so much they had him play as the scout QB for the Army game.

I bet we'll see him return kicks and punts on a regular basis in the future.

From the fan and player perspective that game last night was "therapeutic." After what we have all been through the last 2 months it was so nice to dominate start to finish, to actually get to put in all the backups in the 4th, and know that the outcome of the game was never in doubt. The rain was not even a factor, a light mist early on and then nothing for the rest of the game. Great to see a guy like Samuelson get his first game action in 5 years. Everyone deserves to feel great about last night and now set our sights on CMU. Note the game is at 8pm now on ESPNU.

Yes, and a shame more fans did not turnout. And yes, EMU FB crowds can be pretty thin in November.

I thought the fears of rain were overblown. It seemed that some rain was possible but what time and how much were much in question.

I don't think the forecast was for enough rain to ruin the evening and certainly not enough to turn that gray turf green. 03-lmfao 03-lmfao

If I were going to the game I wouldn't have brought rain gear (maybe that is why they call me 'Sunshine Steve' 03-lmfao). Forty percent chance of rain showers has never scared me.

And as posters have been indicating, we needed a game where the backups could play and last night was it. Hopefully at least one more game (BG?) will be a laugher.

Arguably the best player in the last recruiting class. Him and Sow should be really good players for EMU going forward.
