I think UCONN has it. UCF left it on the bench in the rain and left the field. There's video of UCONN GAs covering it with a towel and carrying it off.

Actually the Civil Conflict Clock was better than the trophy. It had about 13 numbers running across it - I think it even counted milliseconds to the next Conflict game.

True story. I have no problem with Geno taking shots at the football program. The post-Edsall era of UCONN Football has negatively impacted the university, and ultimately, his basketball program.

Yeah. I think it took UCF so long to win it, because finding out the clock wasn't part of it totally demotivated the team.

Very true. Geno knows that if Edsall didn't bail the way he did in 2011, we would likely be in the ACC now if our football program just could have kept the moderate amount of success going between 2011 and 2014.

Geno certainly doesn't respect the way Edsall left UConn and Geno also doesn't respect guys who make excuses and whine about recruiting. A coach can't always play the, "We would be better if we had better recruits" card. Well, you would probably attract better recruits if you were BETTER! While it appears to be a Catch 22, eventually a head coach has to own it as the buck stops with them.

Seriously, I don't watch until the tournament. I couldn't even tell you if Uconn is on or off probation, or who SDSU's basketball coach is. I guess I'll find out around March.
