I'm the dumb dumb. I meant do people actually believe kneeling is not hurting the NFL. Lol
I'm not saying that it's having no effect, but acting as if the NFL viewership declining is compelling evidence of the kneeling hurting them, you're bad at critical thinking.
And blowing it off because there are othre factors is equally lazy critical thinking...
Pretty sure I provided a source earlier in the thread, and I haven't seen a single source provided which shows it's even among the larger factors influencing viewership. Im not saying it's impossible, just saying it's silly for so many people to think they know just cause.
Can you provide a source that said DOnald Trump was going to in the election? No? Maybe that describes the inherent problem with your "sources".

It's telling that you're not actually providing an example and instead just making another single sentence comment without any substance.

Do you really need help connecting the dots? Can you imagine if Trump said that, tweeted that or retweeted that, as opposed to calling players protesting the Anthem SOBs. Can you imagine if any Republican tweeted that? There would be mass protests all over America, calling Republicans genocidal Nazis. But as long as the message comes from a leftist group it is just fine.
Can you imagine if Obama tweeted what Trump tweets? It goes both ways.
It wasn't a tweet but talking down a group of people who believe in "God and guns" wasn't a compliment.

Just following your lead there, sport. Maybe if you spent less time b*tching and moaning about what you read and actually contribute something other than hyperbole, hypocrisy and snarkiness, you wouldn't be getting put on blast constantly.

DeShaun Watson torn ACL - out for year - suffered at practice today. No reason to watch the Texans anymore this year. Papa John's just lost more money.

Papa John's is the only company that delivers out to me. Looks like I'm going to have to start picking up at Pizza Hut or something.

Yeah, but the others are the official NFL pizza subjected to boycotts.
They were making money of crappy pizza before this went down.
They're a pretty big outfit. They probably know whether or not their NFL affiliation is impacting their sales.

I actually agree fully, they probably do in fact know what is actually harming their sales. I'd bet they have advertising metrics out the wazoo which can certainly measure this sort of thing.
That being said, what is actually occurring, and what their outspoken, conservative owner says is occurring are not necessarily the same thing. Sounds like he's whining about a bad business decision at best, and straight up lying at worst.

Papa John's delivers to places others won't (rural) thus would likely be closer to the pulse of the America outside of the Big urban cities that elected Trump
