Very interested to see what happens. If I had to guess today, I'd say I think Ole Miss avoids an additional bowl ban and receives a couple extra scholarship reductions. I think Freeze gets a show cause.

I’m not surprised you think Ole Miss will skate by, They may well get lucky, I’m guessing that they enjoy a two year bowl ban and they lose a few players to transfer

Not a chance that Ole Miss gets off that easy.

It seems Ole Miss has self-imposed a bowl ban by sucking for the past 2 years. Maybe the NCAA should wait until Ole Mrs is actually decent at football again before they talk about any punishments.

Wouldn't be the first time a program self-imposed a post-season ban when they had no chance of making the post-season.

2017 has been mindboggling in many ways. If someone had predicted at the beginning of the year that Hugh Freeze was gonna crash and burn taking Ole Miss with him, how many of us would have believed him?

^^^^^^is the very reason Ole Miss will be hit hard. They must pay for their sins and the sins of the programs whose punishment would cost their conference and TV too much $$.

Why? The NC2A is so butthurt about UNC, that they are going to take it out on mississippi. My guess is that they get hit with everything and more - add'l bowl ban, scholly redux, a show cause for Freezus, and a ca$h penalty.

Aside: Here is a question to ponder: What type of shark is the landshark? Is it a nurse shark? I think not - not ferocious enough. Is it a mako shark? It doesn't look like one to me. I would be willing to bet that it is a fearsome Great White shark.

Sooooooooo, is it still racist to change your mascot from a black bear to a great white landshark? Did the good ole boy network "get one over" on the student population?
