What, you think FIU and Charlotte are close to FAU, Marshall, and Western Kentucky?

Bottom line is ODU and Charlotte are not good this season. One will beat the other and it will mean absolutely nothing other than bragging rights unless ODU beats them and then goes on to run the table.

Got news for you, Charlotte already played Marshall and WKU also. In fact, we played Marshall tougher than ODU did. That's what I "think".
Fact is, Charlotte and ODU are both NOT good this year but apparently only one of us knows this.

Congrats...you ever heard the saying "Any given Saturday...."? BTW, from what I have seen, you aren't much better----IF you are. They are ~Top 15 FCS and there really is little difference between that and bottom 15-20 FBS teams most years.

That might have some merit if the following Saturday you weren't shutout by Georgia State.

Fully aware that neither ODU or Charlotte are good this year. The comparison with the Marshall game means nothing. Even if transitive reasoning worked, they had a 2:1 yard advantage and 23 first downs to 9. They dominated both teams. By your logic, ODU looked much better vs. Western Kentucky than Charlotte did.

Then why did YOU bring up the comparison of "opponent quality". As for the games vs WKU, was ODU missing 8/9 starters for most or all of that game, including your leading 4 tacklers and your starting QB and RB? (in fact, Charlotte was starting a RB who was 3rd string 2 weeks prior)

PCS is delusional as always. As for ODU vs NT, if ODU can take care of the ball this game should be very close and I actually think ODU should win if we have 1 or 0 turnovers. ODU didnt even play that good and should have beat WKU

You don't understand what transitive is. It refers to "We did better against Marshall than you do, so we are a better team." It does not refer to "We have played much tougher competition, so records may not be the best indication."
ODUs roster has been a train wreck with injuries. One of the weeks they had 49 players on the injury report. I think they were relatively healthy (as they have been) vs. WKY. They were really banged up vs. UNC, VT, and Marshall. FWIW:
Starters missing entire year: ILB, 2 safeties (or 1 starter and primary backup).
Starters missing all but 1 half: Duhart
Starters missing all but 2 games: Lawry, Vaughn
Additionally, the starting RT missed a couple games, starting TE has played maybe 2 games, starting DE missed a couple games, primary backup DE missed 3 games. Starting corner has missed 1-2 games. Forgive me for not feeling sorry for your injuries.

Both teams suck so hard that they should be banned from trash talk until they have cause to trash talk, tbh. It's like watching two countries wage war against each other not realizing that someone secretly replaced their nuclear warheads with jelly doughnuts.

Thanks. You agree with me. I said already both teams are bad. Only ODU fans can't admit it.

Are we talking dedicated doughnut shop jelly doughnut, or grocery store "we bake jelly doughnuts if we have leftover jelly" jelly doughnuts?

Actually you apparently don't fully understand transitive. It DOES apply when debating how each team did against the same teams. That was the point. We have each played 2 of the 3 teams that YOU brought us as so tough for ODU....as if we hadn't played them.

Day-old lemon jelly Krispy Kremes. Winner gets to upgrade to fresh Boston Kreme. Loser is relegated to Wal-Mart glazed.

And, I'm not even saying ODU is a good team, just that they've had a very tough schedule, unlike FIU.
