I still think UCF has a chance to finish in front of WSU

The Shockers are turrible on the road... just turrible.

Well to say they are elite on the road would be an understatement. Simply put, Wichita State has been the most dominant road team in the country since 2009, according to Team Rankings. Not just top ten, not just top five: Number One. During that time frame their 72-21 record on the road is the best in the country.

I've been a big shocker advocate for years and even I want to poke fun at the Shocker fans right now. This is getting hilarious.

I request that you don't judge all of us based on Cold and Fever.

We are absolutely going to be in battles, and I hope my heart can handle it for an entire season.

I'm glad the season is about to start soon; I'm stoked to cheer for teams that should actually win non-conference games against schools other than the MEAC; I'm thrilled we get to cut our teeth between January and March against teams that will also be competing in the dance.

Of those road games only 28 were against top 100 RPI teams. The Shockers had a 16-12 record in those games...

In the current makeup of the AAC (3 years) the league had 6,6,4 RPI top 100 teams. Not counting WSU, the MVC has been (2,2,1)...

I believe that would result in a flagrant foul, two shots, the ball, and an ejection.

Well, it is Cincinnati after all. Certainly a program known for their share of ejections and flagrant fouls.

Physical....tough basketball...you can't handle it????...should have stayed in you old conference....

So you’re equating throat punching to “physical basketball”?

Classy and expected.

WSU won’t have a problem with physical, legal basketball. I promise you.

You are sheltered if you expect message boards to be classy.

UC fouls less than almost any team in America and still plays physical basketball. So **** you for taking the fun out of some playful banter by taking the use of "throat punch" completely literal. Get over yourselves already.

Dumb and expected.

Feel free to go back through the years and see where Cincinnati ranks playing defense within the rules before spouting some ignorant BS. https://www.teamrankings.com/ncaa-basket...2017-04-04

I can't wait to throat-punch WSU.

Backing up classy with classy. Expected.

Don’t get so mad. It’s just a message board. You must be sheltered.

We're #1 bro... for the last 8 years. Feel free to post a school that has done better.

P.S. If you really looked up the RPI on every single one of our road opponents since 2009... kudos to you!

P.S.S. If you would kindly post your source for historical RPI schedule results I'd appreciate it.

Ignore him dude. Just point towards the direction of the nearest safe space and leave it be.

You'd think with over 20 years of Internets people would finally have a general understanding of the mechanics of message board trolling with respect to humor and good fun. Some people just aren't that bright. I take it back... most people just aren't that bright.

You said 3 of those first 9.
I said bet.
You’re now back pedaling.

Defection indeed.

Nope. I still see 3 losses. Who blindly agrees to a bet without knowing what is being bet? That's just dumb.

Shox will be favored in all those. But I could see 2 losses coming on the road to Houston and MAYBE UConn.

Oh and it's just exciting that I think this league has 2 teams who could reach the final four (WSU & Cincy) and a couple others who could reach the second weekend with the right matchups.

Of course EVERYTHING is speculation right now. So no one is technically wrong at this point. That's what makes it fun. Everyone has hope in their own teams this time of the year. Let's get this going!!!

People acting like Tulsa is going to be a pushover are in for a rude awakening.

Am I saying we will beat WSU? NO. But we sure as hell aren't going to be a pushover, especially at home.

I think Tulsa will be much-improved this year. Were just SO young last year. I don't see them having the horses to keep pace with the top over 18 games, but I do think they have the talent to contend for an at-large spot and pull some meaningful upsets.
