I will be praying for him and I sincerely hope it is not the end of his story.

I have little sympathy for him, but I do have empathy. I hope he gets his life turned around. Why would anyone have an issue with what he's said?

I am glad he is taking the accountability for his actions. I might nit pick a little about God putting him in that situation to be an example to others. I don't believe that's the way He works. I hope he is able to get through this and be better for it

Maybe a "Saw" situation? His grandmother was being held hostage and he had to steal something to set her free. And not just burglar them, but rob them at gunpoint. And not just rob them, but then sell their stuff on eBay.

I thought assaulting an Auburn Equipment Manager in the perpetration of strong armed robbery for a $75 football was our crime ceiling for Tiger safeties.

I can't think of too many things that would justify armed robbery, but I haven't walked the proverbial mile in his shoes. If he spent a minute in mine he would never think of doing something like that. I think it is fair to judge him, but by the same token all armed robberies aren't created equally.

His apology sounded sincere, I hope he can get straightened out. It is tragic that part of that straightening out won't include a degree from Memphis that he had a chance to get for free.
